Indie devs publishing their games on this site, how does it work?

Heya, I'm making a game based on RPG Maker MV, currently making the "skeleton" of the game, with half a dozen maps.

I have a question on indie devs uploading their WIP games here in this forum.

While it's a great place to upload games, when the game is finished, what does the devs do at that point? Do you guys upload the finished game onto mainstream sites like steam and itch.io and also on this forum? I don't really follow WIP games to the fullest, I mostly forgot about them and discover that either the game is fully finished or abandoned.

discussing sites to publish NSFW games, the top comment mentions that new devs upload their games here.

I was planning on publishing my games on DLsite just because I used it the most (to buy games), but then if people want it, they'll pirate it and upload it here.

So should I just upload my games here and also on sites like itch.io? Kinda like, if you like my games and decided you want to support me, you can buy it type of deal?

And sorry if this question get asked a lot, I don't really know where to start, and some of the threads I've read almost answers my questions but not really.

You don't have to wait to publish your game on here, you can post WIP, obviously you need a first version that's playable, just get a basic playable 1st version of your game, then go to game requests https://f95zone.to/forums/game-requests.3/ here and 'request' your own game, posting a link to MEGA or another approved filed host and the uploaders can create a game thread for you.

Ah I see, thank you, yeah I haven't even finished the MC's design yet hehe, I'll definitely upload it here then once I got a somewhat playable demo/first version.
