Anyone know how to go to the dorms? when i try to go to the gryffindor dorm i go to the hall

First get the ability to leave the office and explore at will, then go to the dorms when the girls are in class.

so i got the uniforms for the girls from the tailor but every time i summon them, i dont have the option to tell them to try it out. what am i missing?

This response is assuming you mean sorting hat when you say tailor:
-Go to the girls rooms when they're not present.
-Interact with the clothes line above their beds and remove all swimsuits
-Place the swimsuit you want them to wear in the line then leave
Now when you summon them (must be official) you can make them wear the swimsuit you left for them.
Something i found useful as well for swimsuit selection, hovering your mouse over the swimsuits in your inventory or cupboard shows what type it is.

Trying to launch v0-7 and its giving me : 0xc0000005 errors in event viewer then crashing out on launch.

Memory accesss violations, what fun...

i only can go to the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw house. I can't click in the Gryffindor and Slytherin house

Does this still work for people? I deleted everything in the folder of the game and put the persistent but everything's still locked.

Been trying every persistent file I could find in this thread. None have unlocked clothing options in the dressing room. Is this a bug with the latest version?

Don't know if it still works but try deleting the persistent that is in your Appdata folder
Only deleting the file in your game folder doesn't change a thing, I don't know why

the online save editor I get on search results doesn't bring up anything like "config.developer" as a flag that even exists in the .save file, and it doesn't take the persistent files either, are you referring to the .net renpy save editor?

edit; the offline .net version doesn't show a "config.developer" either; what/where is this line of code being added?

Well the saves were for 0.7.1 they might not work anymore, I don't know

To make things easy, you have to create a textfile, containing a Python SET environment variable. The nature of Python, makes it easier to predict when and where files get interpreted and "compiled".

So, to set the config.developer environment variable, create a textfile like 00whatever.py
and insert the following lines where "-" means spaces. Or just edit the "WT Silver.py" and insert it somewhere between

You just set a variable in python enabling thingies you normaly shouldn't touch. Remember the spaces. Intendation is quite a bugger in Python. :-D )

And If you want to get the developer console working, and your brain is working, you should have figured it out by now. that you can also use this set environmnent variable on config.developer..... I should not type tutorials after a evening out. Time to zzzzzz

That's because the developers are following Microsoft guidelines where to store things for computers that's sometimes used by more than one person. Every user has their own %APPDATA% environment variable set pointing to their %HOMEPATH%\appdata\roaming.

Its easy to se the default set environment variables. Just start a CMD or Powershell window and type "set". You may have to scroll up a bit. On a home computer that's just the basics. In a 50 000 user environment you'll have a ton more environment variables.

This IS the correct way of doing things.

This one consists of four side quests with yummy rewards like a fullscreen scene with one of the prefects, teaser of the new uniform for the prefects, as well as a number of other additions and fixes.
