Heya, everyone!
Today’s news post is a bit special as it includes several different pieces of information which we decided to gather and present in one big post instead of creating several multiple ones.
In this one we’ll share the info about the new fix + polish release for IW, show the roadmap for the upcoming content and finally update you on the current status of the next patch, 0.12B.
Let’s go!
First, some information about the new 0.12.1A and 0.11.4B releases. These updates are focused on fixing the bugs, polishing certain interactions and improving the overall experience during the gameplay based on the tasks from the backlog and the feedback from players.
Some of the additions are, for example, the ability to choose the completion status for Ginny’s quest when starting the chapters via Select plot / Chapter menu, new minions in the corridor, fixes for Ginny’s quest getting stuck, and other QoL improvements. The full list of changes is available below.
There’s no new major content in these releases, so these versions are aimed more at the new and returning players. For the players who already played 0.12A it would make sense to check these new changes as a part of the upcoming 0.12B update together with new juicy content.
Here are the full changelogs for 0.12.1A and 0.11.4B:
0.11.4-beta
1. It's now possible to choose the completion state for Ginny's quest when starting late chapters in the story.
2. Added logic to prevent Ginny's quest from getting stuck due to a missed visit.
3. Added an ability to replay two scenes with Minerva which were previously only available during the story events.
4. Expanded the pool of students who can appear in the main corridor between classes and on weekends.
5. It's now also possible to meet the prefects at the entrance gates between the classes.
6. Fixed the bug with a certain notice paper piece not disappearing when exiting the Notice Board screen at the Entrance gates.
7. Fixed a bug with Snape missing his arm when sitting at the table.
8. Updated the notification for receiving and losing galleons in the events across the game.
9. Reduced delay of the notification for getting / losing items, plus the items for Alexa's card collection event.
10. Elf-maid can now be more easily scheduled for a night visit in the bedroom - the note can now be left at any time on the bed, plus you can ask her directly to visit after completing her scene and reaching late stage of the story.
11. Mysterious fan quest final stage now uses spell mechanic instead of stat checks.
12. Fixed a bug that triggered the Mysterious fan quest stage with the note when Marcus was not in the office location.
13. Marcus now less frequently talks about the fatigue in the morning caused by the Mysterious fan quest events.
14. It's no longer required to press and hold the button when filling the spell for the spell cast minigame. Instead, you can press and release the button at the start of the spell and then fill the spell as usual. In addition, pressing and holding still works as before if you prefer this way.
15. Fixed the game crashing when reaching the Game Over screen in Act 1 Chapter 6.
16. Fixed a crash that appeared when interacting with a letter in Act 2 Chapter 2.
17. It's now possible to visit the library via the game map in the later stages of the story.
18. Updated the way how "Control" stat is trained.
19. Added a hint about obtaining Daphne's photo rewarded for finishing her minigame.
20. Fixed a bug with items removal when the item that is being removed was not in player's inventory.
21. Polished Act 1 Chapter 1 by removing unnecessary screen transitions, delays and other clutter, and slightly adjusted interactions between the characters.
22. Additionally, polished Act 1 Chapters 2 to 4 and some of the side events by reducing delays when changing gestures for the characters, as well as other pauses and transitions.
23. The tutorial for spell casting minigame can now be skipped.
24. Added the ability to skip the time to 23:00 via the clock interface when it's 11:00 or later.
25. The settings are now saved right after exiting the preferences screen, which fixes annoying bugs when the settings were not saved when certain conditions were met.
26. Fixed a bug with the visits from characters being delayed after transitioning between the chapters.
27. Unified Marcus' owl name, Googlyeyes, across the game.
28. Updated the hint about Sonya's costume rewarded for the "She sells seashells down by the seashore" achievement.
29. Fixed the hint arrow incorrectly appearing in the bedroom in Act 1 Chapter 2 if certain conditions were met.
30. Entering Azkaban location now triggers one of two music tracks instead of just one.
31. Fixed a bug with emotions beings sometimes wrongly shown between the dialogue lines.
32. Updated community translations to include all the latest additions. Thank you for the contributions!
33. Implemented other fixes and adjustments based on the reports from the players (thanks! <3).
0.12.1-alpha
0. All the fixes, adjustments and additions that were implemented in 0.11.4-beta-fix1 are also present in 0.12.1-alpha-fix1.
1. Updated Hagrid's Hut inside location art and the miniatures in the new plot, plus added animations for the background.
2. Fixed a bug causing an old version of Ravenclaw Dorms to appear after certain events in Act 2 Chapter 1.
3. Fixed a crash when summoning Bobby via owl in Act 2 Chapter 4.
4. Added a reaction for Marcus when interacting with the mimic chest in the updated Ravenclaw Dorms.
5. Fixed a crash in Act 2 Chapter 2 caused by a scheduled visit by Xandria.
6. Implemented other fixes and adjustments based on the reports from the players (thanks! <3).

An updated web-based version of Innocent Witches will follow shortly. We strongly recommend checking it out to those players using mobile devices who have issues with playing the game on Android. The players who use Apple devices will be able to play the game as well via any browser.
Next, the roadmap.
The roadmap above demonstrates our current plans for the upcoming updates for the near future. Most of it is already set in motion and being worked on in one way or another, in a form of scenario, art or game-design planning. The only part which we haven’t decided on yet is the patch 0.13B.
At the moment the plan is to rework the side quest “Fashion riot” and include the updated version alongside the other additions. However, the exact content for this reworked version is not yet set in stone. For you it just means that the content of this 0.13B patch might change from what is depicted on the roadmap to something else (which will of course be juicy too).
Finally, a couple of words on what’s the current status of development for the next major content patch, 0.12B.
Let’s begin with the art preview, which this time due to a special format of this news post will be available for everyone with Sailor tier or above! (available in a separate post that will follow shortly). In this preview we can see Myrtle who’s joining the girl in the Abandoned Toilet, both of them are anticipating the visitor that will shortly come to them

This is a part of the additions which will be added in 0.12B.
In regards to the current status for 0.12B, things are coming along pretty well. One of the six major parts is mostly in the code, with art and text for it waiting for insertion. The rest of the events are either waiting for insertion into the game’s code, or getting final touches and being finalized. In addition, half of the texts are getting prepared for editing. When they are finished, the second part of the texts will be sent to the editor as well.
Overall, the work continues and we will of course continue to share more information about the status and the release date for this patch!
