what you don't get is, because you guys are supporting them prolonging the game development, you are allowing them to bullshit you and get away with it. If everyone was like "yeh ok you are clearly scamming everyone" they would reveal that they are by going away silently or actually finish the game in a reasonable time.

You don't have to follow the supposedly scamming development of this game. If the people are willing to trust Joe's promises (the promises he's backed up with actual progress) then that's their money. You may see it as your duty as an enlightened intellectual to convert us from our foolish ways, but it's just annoying. If you think it's a scam then go play something else instead of repeating the same tired old complaints that keep getting spread throughout this thread
And oddly enough, if everyone pissed off and stopped funding them, development would stop regardless of whether it's a scam or not. Apparently people need paying for their work. Who woulda thunk it

Have you ever noticed that the people whining all the time how this is a scam, are usually new members and that most of their posts are complaining about the 'scam'. Makes me wonder if it's not all the same person making a new account every few months just to make it seem like there's a larger outcry than just them. If I was cynical I'd probably go on to speculate that the person in question is either the former head writer, or someone connected to him.
Nope. You can certainly oogle them though like a pervert. That's good progress in my opinon.

If I understand their Patron correctly, the Alpha of the next release should be around a month after the current release, so I guess sometime around July 4th for the next Alpha

actually, support wouldn't change anything in terms of completion if what you're saying is true. If they're scamming everyone, why would they finish it, if they lose out on the money?
