Ren'Py - Insatiable [v0.8.1] [cumAgain? Games]

At first, it is about playing a complete loser with a small penis. Then, magic happens, and you are playing an extremely muscular man who you watch masturbate a lot. The game is heavily based upon your character masturbating a lot. In fact, your character will be rather constantly aroused, and will literally have to masturbate in order to be able to move around the house. The masturbation will only reduce the arousal by VERY small amounts ( -10 per hour, then -5 per hour, then -1 per hour), and you will soon be at 100 arousal again and unable to move around the house. There are other events that require even less arousal (say, you must be under 80 arousal), so you may have to spend at least a day masturbating before you can even wait for the next time window to show up. This should give you a general idea of how annoying the gameplay can be, and there is often no one to interact with most of the time.

The reason I didn't rate this lower is that the sex scenes are of good visual quality, although I know only from unlocking the gallery, since the MC keeps refusing to have sex with the women around him for the most part (he does have sex with one overweight woman you don't see again as far as I know, and it is not optional as for as I know), because I guess it gets in the way of repeating his masturbation scenes.

Ultimately, this game feels like a big trolling.

EDIT: Well, I completed the current version, and there are a good number of sex scenes later on, but there is a lot of tonal whiplash during the story as the story seems to get more and more insane, especially around the ending, during whichSummer rapes the MC, with tears running down his face.

A good game. Not really humorous, more campy and goofy and certainly fun. It doesn't take itself to seriously and definitely spoofs the genre.

The MC is a VERY manly man, full of piss and vinegar. The women are varied but all beautiful and sexy. The story is interesting but not really to unique. The sex scenes are erotic with very simple animation.

There is a bit of grind but it's not bad. The writing is good, not to much but not to little. It gets the ideas across without a bunch of tedious exposition. There are no glaring typos or grammatical errors.

The art is great and lends itself well to the type of story being told. A little goofy, a little campy and very sexy.

It's a simple and straight forward story full of sex and goofiness. I have really enjoyed it so far.

Good Points
+ The story had some interesting parts at least, even tho it doesn't feel well-written, for example like how MC has been chosen by Protector of the Forest because of being a lost soul who achieved nothing and then became the forest's champion and turned into a Gigachad
+ Here instead of corruption levels, etc, we have ''Women's Size Levels'' It's a bit weird system, but kind of unique I guess?
+ Render and visual quality get better later starting from ACT 2, but it's still average at best and not stable, sometimes it looks good, and sometimes it looks bad and pixelated again.
+ Around ACT 3 sex scenes start having animations and they are decent.

Bad Points
- A lot of detail about the story is quite annoying, nonsense, or dumb, some are funny so they got pass, but some are quite annoying, for example how MC got fired from his job was nonsense AF, it could have handled far far better and with at least logical way. Or how MC forgot who he was and his past life after fainting in the clinic and the game forced you to have another name and Gloria kept saying you can't have your old name, you are not him, that name belongs to her son/tenant, for god's sake...
- If you looking for a game you can have romance along with corruption/lust stuff going on for variety, then don't, there is no variety here, all focus is on corruption/lust type of content and slutty women/girls.
- Your choices don't matter and most (if not all) content is forced, like having no choice over who to have sex with or MC saying ''Don't leave him.'' to Layla and leading unavoidable MMF content.
- It seems DEV takes some stuff too real, like how he wanted us to make a password for the MC's account, and asked us to make a password with 8 characters, with letters and numbers. Or how you are constantly forced to jerk off to move around the house because you can't if you are aroused.
- Render and visual quality is quite low, especially ACT 1 feels like 720p at best and looks quite bad, and pixilated. DEV should improve visual parts ASAP, at this point it looks like a game made in 2015-2018 at best or even worse.
- Facial expressions https://prnt.sc/XkAkm64RHzzL looks really bad.
- Acts 1 & 2 had no animations for sex scenes. And even tho around ACT 3 we got decent animations for sex scenes, they still had only one position and animation, even tho it's gonna be only one animation and position at least DEV should show different angles of the same animation/position, which would give more variety.
- Most women and love interests in the game are shallow, rude, and b*tches.
- The game has no songs, no music, or no ambient sound.
- The arousal meter looks bad, it takes too much space on the screen, making it smaller and placing it next to other things on the HUD (top part of the screen) could be better.
- The game lacks images, sometimes text tells what happens instead of showing on screen like ''Her breasts press up against you'' etc, and that's a bad choice.
- Even tho they are not game-breaking, there are still some bugs like animations in scenes not playing or gallery scenes being mixed, etc.

For The End
The game starts quite badly and improves with the more you play, especially the animations are a good improvement, but aside from animations everything is quite bad, it doesn't deserve more than 2 or 2.5 stars, it's an average game at best with the things it does, and does quite a poor job with most stuff, DEV should improve bad points if he wants this game to be better, I can see the potential, but current execution is poor.

The Game started of as a bad comedy show with this ridculous transformation.
But OMG does it become deep after a few hours. The story just seems to flow all natually despite the free roaming mode.
I've very rarely seen a game that hits you this hard.

One of the best games on here, hands down. From the art and character designs, the gameplay, and last but absolutely not the least, the writing. If the game has the most amazing art it can still feel like the women is not alive, and in insatiable they feel so vibrant and alive. I love the absured reality with the humor but it also just works in to makes a enticing story. Yeah also the sex that's good too... for real it's top notch.

TL;DR: play if you're up for a lighthearted, fun & erotic, over-the-top (absurd but funny scenes, stuff like massive ejaculation) fantasy comic like game & story. Don't let hulk w/ absurd dong or fugly & jerk off MC (game start) refrain u from giving this a chance!

Nice & fun game, glad I picked this up! It strikes a nice balance between story & game/sandbox. I had some good fun & laughs throughout (e.g. the over the top fountain ejaculations). Heart says 5 points, brain says 4: heart wins, 5 stars (for support as well)

Story
Story is fun & lighthearted.


CG & animations
Overall pretty pleasurable. Animations are a bit of a mixed bag at times: some are pretty basic (couple of repeated frames), others (later in the game) are more elaborate put together. There are some real nice ones, and hair & boob physics are pretty good & satisfying there (I love how the boobs move in some (later) scenes).

Some (sub-)scenes progress automatically, which I regret at times, as I'd would have wanted to enjoy them a bit longer & proceed on my own terms.

Music & sfx
There is none, but that didn't bother me - the story, gameplay & gfx make up for it. And with this game I think (sex) sfx should really fit the scenes; having generic sex sounds would ruin it, so better to implement properly or not at all. Some bgm could add to the atmosphere of course, some locations are well suited to have some bgm (night club).

Characters
Enough to like here. Some things are a bit rough (at the beginning). When you start of as MC you look hideous, but that's part of the over-the-top setting (I suppose - (pubic/body) hair looks like crap, and MC looks like 38 or something).


Issues / Technical stuff
NB: I ran this via Ren'Py 8.2.1-sdk (although 8.1.3 should have sufficed as well), which helped easy the CPU usage a bit on my potato resulting in smoother animations. There seemed to be no issues doing so.

Suggestions, ideas, wishes
* characters stat chart is WIP, but at least show the tier a girl is at;
* a 'manual'/log; so you can look up / read back the various hint/instructions given to you (although it's not all that complicated - still nice). So you can e.g. read about the girl stat explanation. (No need for that in-game/story refresher then I suppose.)

TLDR: This game made me develop a stomach bulging fetish in VN's. For version 0.3.1, I am surprised with how much content is in the game. The animations start off like a slideshow, but later in the game I am really impressed with the fluidity of the sex scenes. If you don't like VN's where the protagonist has a behemoth cock, this VN is not for you.


Okay, I usually do not play VN games that are not at least on build 0.5 because I assume there is not enough content. I'm glad I went with my gut and tried this game anyway. There's way more than I expected for a 0.3.1 build.

A lot of VN's have the main protagonist with a monster cock-- but this one shows the cock imprint/bulge all the way up to the women's breasts when getting fucked balls deep. When I think of VN's that have a great story, this doesn't really hit hard, but it is unique enough, and I'm curious to see how the story develops.

**SPOILERS FOR EXTREMELY BRIEF SUMMARY OF STORY:
The MC is a loser living with his stepmom and stepsister. His dad is missing. One day the MC turns into a Chad who develops amnesia and wakes up in a hospital (They literally call him Chad by default at this point unless you change it). The MC can only seem to remember his stepmom or stepsisters phone number and names, so they meet him at the hospital. The mom lets him stay at her house until the MC can figure out who he is and get back on his feet. No one believes that he is the the pre-Chad MC. The MC starts to stream himself on a porn website to make money to help with the bills. Eventually he starts filming porn with the stepsister and stepmom. Now the MC's memories are starting to come back, and that's pretty much where the story is at for the time being.

I left out how he ends up transforming to this new body because I honestly don't remember. Something about a magic forest woman needing a new champion to fuck a hot green ogre woman and win (?) the fucking.

STORY SPOILERS DONE**


There is no voice acting, which for me is fine. I don't personally need voiced dialogue. However, I do wish there were moans and sex sounds in this VN. If I remember right, there is currently no music or sound in general.

I consider the grammar and spelling to be pretty fair as far as VN writing goes. I don't police grammar and spelling as much as others, so your mileage may vary. I thought it was serviceable in this game, (i.e., the script doesn't seem like it was fed into Google translate without any proofreading after). I remember seeing a typo with the mom referring to herself as his or him or whatever male pronoun it was for one brief moment. That's the only one that really stuck out for me when I think back.

A main criticism of mine is the slideshow animations in the beginning and middle portions leading up to version 0.3.1. People who are particular about fluidity in their VN's animations might not stick around until the more recent updates where the quality dramatically improves. I would like to see a little more refinement with the cumshot animations so the character model doesn't go from completely cumfree to completely drenched in cum in the next frame. Credit to the developer, it does get better later, but he's just got a little ways to go in my opinion.

All in all, I am very pleased with this game. I am looking forward to more updates so this VN can turn into the 5 out of 5 it deserves to be.

Gameplay is realy balanced - we got enough handholding to easy move game plot but also freedom to not move the plot and just chill with girls if you want.
Grind is very light and more like extra layer of guide than a chore. Game is still at early version but it have more content then most of games on site.

It's not bad. The developer needs to think about user experience in the long run. Why do I need to click multiple times to use the computer or phone when one click would suffice in certain instances? I understand needing the different interfaces for some actions but multiple clicks for actions that don't allow you to use keyboard navigation is just wrong lol

At first glance, the MC has a horrendous model that likely was made by someone with body dysmorphia or a fetish for muscles.
Likely the second as the female models are on point and are largely the savior of this game, imo.

The overarching story is pretty bad and feels more like some side thought to explain why things are the way they are more than anything. The goal isn't really too enticing either, and feels like the incorrect goal for the player and MC. The way things are, the goal should rather be to become a harem king or spawn a wave of fairy children or something.
