Others - Insect Prison Remake [v0.90] [Eroism]

Glad someone made a remake for this game. I was genuinely surprised when I found out about this. I'm hoping new content can be made in the future whenever the dev catches up with the original.

Also a couple of tips for those who are struggling:

In any encounter always focus on 1 enemy at a time until they die, if you have a low hp enemy then focus on that, otherwise pick one yourself.

Then, spam fast attack until your focused enemy ends up getting stunned, and whenever you land any successful stun, spam them with heavy attacks until that stun ends.

You can also get free heavies on enemies who just groped you, as they won't do that immediately again, and they don't have the ability to parry.

Finally, whenever you're low don't forget to just use a bandage, as those are really cheap to make.

Don't forget to also use the guides listed on the Itch.io page for extra information about the game.

The grind is absurd, the combat you literally cannot win, the so called upgrades earned from lust and item trading when buying weapons and armor is so weak it's absolutely not worth it. Even after so much grinding you cannot win a single fight, oh and yes I read the "tutorial"
And, the skip button requires you to click so many times, it doesn't actually skip. Not to mention the slow annoying exploration animations where you need to wait 1s for the next scene to load the actual buttons.

Don't waste your time.

Lame, limited and drawn out.

• "You find nothing" is the most common outcome.
• Need swamp material to avoid a swamp critter
  (can't avoid mosquito-> can't avoid lewdness -> can't avoid getting fucked.)

It really needs something like RPG type levels or proficiencies to make the grind more bearable, rewarding.

Slow, tedious, low in gameplay. You either save-scum to get more than nothing or it turns into a bad clicker game.

Very needed remake, the original was so user unfriendly to even get to work but this finally provides an easy way to experience the scenes in their full context. The game itself is still a little grindy with the repetition of scenes but I will put up with it for the content.

Game proves to be very promising as a remake of the original title thus far. The dev even went as far as to make quality of life improvements like a more intuitive UI. An example of that is a button that lets you repeat your latest action in combat, which is awesome and a lot of other RPG maker combat style games could make notes on that.

Besides that the game also features better quality images then the OG. which is always an improvement.

I can only hope the dev will be able to expand were the OG left off. and turn the game into a classic in its Niche.

The quality of the remake is superb, the developer clearly knows what they're doing to remake such a unique piece of a game, which was hindered due to the complexity of just trying to play it.

The developer's remake is true to how the original game felt, and added some QoL features that makes the gameplay even better than before.

The theme of the game is not for everyone. A lot of people will stay away from it. But the CG of the game, being the high quality as it is, would surely draw some attention to those who are willing to try it.

I cannot stress the originality of the game, and it's corruption-based system that many would like. Even the general grinding aspect of the game would be an enjoyment in of itself, alongside the battle scenarios to keep you engaged in the game. (When those features gets released, right now the remake is still bare bones in functionality.)

The original game itself is unfinished, and so this remake would likely reach it's dead end. However, the CG artist has other works that can be added to the current game, albeit with a lower quality since those CG arts were not designed to play frame-by-frame. However, it still opens up the possibility that this game can be expanded further out.

Overall, this is a must try game, for those who are brave or curious enough to dabble in such a theme. Again, the CG art is high quality, and while the story is a bit bare, the corruption system, crafting, battle mechanics, and the grind makes the game a bit more worthwhile to play.

Nice , tq for remaking this masterpiece. There are somethings that haven't implement it yet but it works like a charm unlike the original. The original need to set up which is a pain in the ass. Keep up the good work devs

i haven't played the original, but there i some content here, but it is only two areas plus the cabin, i haven't yet to understand how to craft items or even if it is possible yet...

I am giving it 3 out of 5, but i will keep my eye on this game...
