Another bug to report.

In the Fly (Consent) and Fly (Defeat) scenes, if you choose the option "Rub while depositing eggs" (the option appears following the fly laying it's eggs) there is no animation and it immediately goes to the following menu. The option that would loop the skipped animation also does this.

And while I don't know if it's a bug or not, the Fly (Consent) and Fly (Defeat) have the same text with Fly (Forced) in their shared scenes. In every other Consent or Defeat scene Leah is encouraging and horny, so maybe that would warrant an edit. Swapping out her expressions for happy/horny ones too if possible.

I've confirmed the issue with the missing stage in both scenes, I can have that dealt with by the next version, the new dialogues however I don't think will make it into the upcoming one, depending on how we handle the last tasks for version 0.95. I'll keep it in the buffer for the following ones still.

There was a suggestion for the Parasite Worms to serve as a form of "birth control", they might feed on the eggs and prevent incubation, for example. I'm inclined in going trough that route, albeit I'm not yet sure on this.

I think some of the latest works from Atella would work well in the game if they could be adapted, might be worth a shot to see if Atella would be willing to allow those works, or an edited form, to be used integrated into the game, if he does not already plan to use them as such.

I'll verify with him if he would accept paid commissions for scenes, however if he does not, we'll have to search for an alternative.

I dont get it. You are doing such a good Job honoring his work. If he let you use what's already been made, he doenst have to do anything, but he will gain publicity and might earn a dime or two from his almost forgotten work. It should work in his favor. Did he state a reason?

The only logical reason i can think of why he is acting like this, is because he is working on his own game based on messages he made not that long ago on his blog.

He probably wants to keep those other CG collections for the game that he is working on, not wanting it to be used for a remake of an older project of his. which is understandable, not that i agree with it. but this could be the reason.

I wasn't given an exact reason, but mind you that Atella didn't also explicitly said he wouldn't give permission. The answer I got was more on the lines of "I can't give or not give permission". It may sound confusing, however there might be legal underlines on this, for example, the work might be also owned by other entities besides Atella himself, which operate on their own terms, thus deciding unilaterally may cause legal repercussions.

Besides the potential to use his own CGs on another project of his, there may exist other factors that will influence Atella to not grant certain permission, like the risk to just be offering paid work, that some people has purchased before, for a project that will share it for free, and it might upset others who previously paid. And there is also doubt on cost X benefit, because we might view it as free publicity, however it might not be the case as it doesn't ensure that more people will go on Ci-en and pay for his works, as in many countries it is quite difficult to aquire goods from Japan, and the country usually lives in a somewhat isolated socio-cultural bubble, even on the internet, so it might be difficult to perceive any positives OR negatives from "opening up" to the world, albeit this is entirely my speculation on the matter as I don't intend to pry on the author's life.

The differences was that Mushi no Kangoku was already free and spread over the internet, and most certanly, fully owned by Atella, so just allowing people to use those works won't have any negative impacts for the author. The paid works hosted on a platform, however, might be subject to other more strict criteria and expectations.

In any case, my request and response both mentioned that I would only use that collection with his explicit permission, as I want to respect the author and his work and also don't want to be dragged into any sort of legal dispute.

You can buy incense at the store too. And the scene is there, though I bet the mosquito is preventing it from happening.

Both Incense and the Insect Repellent will get rid of the Mosquito, however Incense is a temporary measure, while the repellent is permanent.

The odds are a bit swayed in favor of the Mosquito indeed, I might have to adjust it on the next version, but other than that, don't forget the Parasite Worms are only triggered relative to how many of them you are infected with.

We've just released a merge of version 0.95 and 1.0 as a single Christmas package! I wish everyone happy holidays and that you enjoy this update as hopefully you've enjoyed the previous ones .
