eroism There seems to be an issue with the Sucking leech - Consent, as soon as i choose "Leech implants its eggs" there is a infinite black screen, dunno if that has been pointed out already.

I didn't encounter this error in previous versions. Why is there such a thing in this version?

As a side note, which link did you use? The only links I uploaded was the MediaFire/GoFIle and Pixeldrain ones, the others I won't vouch for, since they were added with the update report.

Thank you once again for this game! The new dialogue with Parasite Beast looks amazing (special thanks for the Russian translation). I have a question: I came across some artwork by an artist named Atera, and it looks identical to the art used in the game. Hypothetically speaking, would it be possible to use their artwork to add new scenes to the game? And if Atera is indeed the original artist, could they potentially grant permission for this?

as far as the poll up top goes while i personally would want the guarantee drops i think the best way to go about that would be add a difficulty setting where hard has the high chance of nothing, normal has the low chance of nothing, and easy always gets drops and maybe this difficulty setting could also affect other aspects as well

Wow, how far the remake has come! Thanks for working on this, eroism.
It's been a while since I've played the game so I loaded up an old save. Not sure if that was a good idea, as after discovering the swamp, I got attacked by the leeches, immediately went to a CG scene and after given the option of the leech implanting eggs, I got a black screen. Is that a bug, or just me using an old save breaking the game?

The mosquito scene (panties) is broken, you can only hear buzzing sounds but the screen is black.

Hello dremora1. Indeed, Atera/Atela, depending on interpretation, is the original artist and author of Mushi no Kangoku. I've recently asked him permission to use additional CGs related to Leah. I'm awaiting for his answer.

You may find some problems with jumping a save between versions. The in-game save handler is capable of upgrading saves between versions, like 0.80/0.81 to 0.85; 0.85 to 0.90; and etc, but it's functionality for skipping versions is not guaranteed. The game won't break, but their might be some minor bugs. I would advise creating a new save to make sure everything works well .

I encountered a weird issue where the game immediately crashes whenever I use fast attack. Although It doesn't always seem to happen. I do have the knuckles equipped so that might be a part of the reason?

Looking at the logs this is the error I get:

USER ERROR: Node not found: "slash-fast" (relative to "/root/SE").
at: get_node (scene/main/node.cpp:1792)

Here's a 100% save file with all 34 scenes for version 1.0
I may or may not update this post in the future and include a new full save whenever the game updates.

Save files are located in: C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\insect-prison
All that needs to be done is to copy and paste the save file into the save folder.
(Make sure to load save 5 as that is where the full save is)

Advanced notes for those who want to edit the game's save files:
(Backup your game save before doing any editing.)
The game's saves are just the raw byte data but Base64 encoded.
You can either decode that using any online base64 decoder and edit the raw bytes, or alternatively you can use an

that does that for you. (I recommend the save editor.)
The actual item names are spelled out in english so it's fairly easy to find what you want to edit. The values are 4 int32 numbers side by side for each item.

For editing item amounts, you need at least 1 item to keep it simple. Find the entry for the item, then count 4 bytes, afterwards, the next 4 bytes are the int32 number of however much of the same item you have in your inventory. You can use this for example to edit Libido Herb amounts to make unlocking scenes easier.

As for lewdness, I haven't really looked at that. For the most part, I just copied the default value from a new game save, and pasted it in my progressed save to reset my lewdness.
(This can be done to pretty much any other stat.)

I haven't looked at scenes so I can't exactly say much about how they're saved.

After editing whatever you wanted to edit, save the changes and overwrite the file. So long you did everything correctly you will see the changes in game.

Update:
Happy new year, and merry christmas. I updated the save file to include all scenes from version 1.0 as well.
Old save file was removed.

Not sure if its a bug or not (i was using an earlyer save, and it had bugs) so i decided to start a new game and the "new game" button does nothing. just makes a clicking sound

A good strategy is to focus on 1 enemy at a time and spam them with fast attacks until they're stunned. Once stunned spam them with heavies till the stun runs out.
Whenever they use a grope attack you can afterwards hit them with a heavy, and it will always land since they don't have a way to parry.
Lastly, don't forget to use bandages whenever you're low, as it's pretty easy to make them.
