You can rise up your stats at the gym clicking on various objects.
anyway it's not useful, so don't worry it can only be used to beat ppls in the bad street, and maybe you can unlock it after talking to mark.
You have to progress each of the lower skills in the gym to progress the higher skills. I don't recall the order, but it will become clear once you spend some time trying to improve skills. Only one will improve at first, then you trade points of that one for the next, and so on. That's just from ancient memory, so could be a bit off. I think that there's a sign or something at the back of the gym that explains it.
You actually can use mouse movement, though it's a bit clunkier than I'd prefer. On the stats screen, click yes on Android/Mouse. This will put arrows on the screen so you can play one handed.Exactly why is the movement by WASD/Arrows? I can't see any reason why it couldn't be point&click by mouse, as usually games like this should be playable by one hand...
