I played a bit of The Last Sovereign got to the part where you reach the merchant lady I also disliked the fact that it set your decisions in stone hence forcing you to replay the game to explore all possibilities, sure making a different save can help you explore but when an outcome depends on the past 10 or so choices you made then it just makes "save/reload to try everything out" just harder and exhausting I actually didn't mind the complexity but then I looked online and found out who it was made by and remembered that the same dev had made a game previously where CG/scenes were Only included in the paid version after the game was finished which is something I didn't like so it turned me off from the game even more. I will definitely try out Alonexp.
I think the shadowy silhouette is actually Korra so don't think we will be playing as her I didn't watch the Legend of Korra or finished watching the Last air bender but they are both on my bucket list but IDK all the characters from Legend of Korra. Mity has never disappointed us before so I doubt the final chapter is anything but Good.
