Introspection and questions about NTR

Hi there! I’ve begun trying to figure myself out and my taste in genres/kinks and I came to realize something that has puzzled me for a while

TL;DR: I find myself defending NTR(netorare) genre on this site a lot but I honestly don’t think I even enjoy it.

To elaborate; I really like sluts! I love when the woman is a total whore who can’t help herself and fucks everyone and everything. That is the kink I’m 100% into. It does not really matter if its male MC or female MC. There happens to be an overlap with NTR, where the woman cheats(very slutty thing to do) but then most actual ntr games seem to focus on her cheating with just 1 other guy(not so slutty) and often the guy blackmails/rapes her(not slutty at all!)
I absolutely can’t stand those scenarios personally, as it feels like maledom(being dominated by the man she cheats with). Its also often without her clear consent and willingness; A complete turnoff for me. Often times, it includes a corruption element where she starts enjoying it and it becomes more consensual; This is where I can start enjoying it a bit but if its still just 1 other man, its usually not enough to get me going.

I clearly prefer Netorase(willing sharing) for the consent part, but then again, if you’re just lending the woman out to 1 guy, I have a hard time getting into it. Its obvious I’m clearly into femdom, but if the woman does not fuck around like a slut and only fucks the MC, it still is not quite doing it for me. So it begs the question; Am I even a real NTR fan? I defend ntr and devs right to implement it feverishly. I argue with vanilla-stans and harem purists daily in defense of NTR and its implementation. Yet, cheating alone where the woman only cheats with MC(netori) is not enough for me. I need her to cheat with more than just 1 person, MC or not.

Totally understand where you are coming from chum. Personally I love the idea of sharing and hot wife but not into humiliation/cuckolding and misogyny . It would appear that there's quite a few differing opinions as to what a hot wife is. In my view the hotwife scenario excludes cuckolding, which is a separate field of its own. There's quite a bit of NTR content out there, but less on the sharing or at least having a sharing path and it would be great if we saw some more. I have huge regard for the developers as I can see that their work is long and hard, but I suspect some are better artists and some better writers so it might improve things if we saw a bit of collaboration. As a player we often take on the part of the MC and being unable to be anything other than a pathetic cuckold just doesn't float my boat. I think that MWAS hits a reasonable balance that can satisfy both in that you can keep your LI on a happy sharing path or throw her to the wolves and essentially become a cuckold/spectator.

No tag is gonna be completely homogenious. Harem has the "fake harems" that hardcore harem dudes detest. Incest has stepcest that incest bois cry about. ntr is about seeking that bittersweet masochistic pain that comes from being FORCED to watch someone else stealing your girl. 'netorare' literally means to take away from you, and has a longer history of specifically meaning it in an abusive sense. (in contrast to, for example, 'spirited away' which also means taking away from you but not in abusive sense.)

in a nutshell: if you're not hurt by your girl being taken from you, and if that pain isn't exactly what you seek, you don't have the ntr kink.

(doesn't mean you shouldn't defend ntr against kink shaming nor that you can't like other things in an ntr story.)

I too like corruption but really hate Rape, Mind Control, Drugs, and Hypnosis tags, it steals away from build-up and Dev really takes the easy route when making games based on that. You're not limited to NTR, just FYI.

But I don't self insert when I play a game or read a story or whatever, so generally speaking for me there is no such thing as NTR. Therefor the whole NTR/anti-NTR debate is meaningless to me. I think that is Ratatatat doujin you're talking about, though I guess the MC of that doujin sees how deep she has gone and she is pretty much taken away at that point. There are examples of them, yeah, even though there is no relationship MC can see his LI taken away by someone else with no build-up. but for the majority of titles, NTR is corruption-themed.
