Just found out the first big inZOI update with the Mod Kit that was supposed to drop end of this month is now pushed to mid-June. Honestly, kinda bummed—been looking forward to this. But if the delay means we get a more polished and solid update, I'm all for it. Just hope it's worth the wait. I'm not sure about that WickedZOI yet but we will see. Lol

This notice explains how feedback is applied, June update schedule, and Mod Kit plans.

apparently, no script modkit included in the upcoming June release... i'm fairly sure sinZoi won't be a thing AT LEAST until end 2025

Yes the Modkit (I'm sure that includes script mods) for inZOI is definitely coming in June. Not sure where you heard otherwise. If you've been keeping up with the devs on Steam or their Discord, you'd know they're actively working on it and planning to release it soon. It was originally supposed to drop in May, but got pushed back to June 13. So, it's happening—just a little later than expected.

Apparently script mods only in december.

Q. Will there be scripting mods for inzoi?

Scripting mods for inZOI are currently in development and are planned to be included in the December update. We’re working to enable more flexible and expansive mod creation, so please stay tuned!

Well I didn't see that post. So the scripting mods are not dropping until December, while the Modkit's coming this month, and the facial Modkit won't be out until sometime after September.

Is it possible to generate a character based on a photo?
Nah, I don't think so. Pretty sure the AI generation in inZOI is just for objects, clothing and textures not for character creation but maybe with Blender (with DAZ Studio's help) you can, when the Modkit drops. I haven't touched the game in a bit—just holding out for that first big update to finally drop.

The modkit is out:

I hope we get some good mods in the future!
Awesome! Just updated the front page of my thread—finally added the link to the Modkit from Epic Games (couldn't see it on Steam) and also dropped links to inZOI's official mods on Curse Forge and already have provided the other mods from Nexus Mods months ago. Not sure if Curse Forge allows some adult mods, but Nexus definitely does. While I'm writing this, I'm also updating inZOI on Steam, but I'm not sure if that includes the Modkit or if I'll still need to grab it from Epic Games directly. I've got an Epic Games account anyway, so I'll probably just go that route if I have to.

Yeah, you need to download the Modkit if you want to create mods. The mod menu in Inzoi lists all the available mods (though yesterday it wasn’t working, no mods showed up in the list). I just checked Nexus, and there are already some interesting mods available. For example, I saw this one: (FreeToLove mod). I'm working on a few mods myself and will post here once I have something ready.

Edit: I think im going to wait till december to release mods. My hope was that somehow they included script modding, but sadly it doesn't :(

I finally downloaded and installed the inZOI Modkit from Epic Games yesterday. First impression? The Modkit feels like a mashup of Unreal Engine, Blender, and DAZ Studio—it's got that sleek, complex vibe. I haven't really played around with it yet, just opened it up to take a quick peek. It's definitely built for mod creation.

As for the in-game mod menu, that's only for the official inZOI mods hosted on Curse Forge—not Nexus. The menu worked fine for me yesterday, but I didn't download anything new from there. I've already got a bunch of Nexus mods installed—most of them dropped over two months ago, and there are over 600 available on Nexus compared to just 80+ on Curse Forge.

Most of the mods on Nexus haven't been updated since the Modkit dropped, and they install in a completely different location—where the game itself is installed, not in the Documents folder like the official inZOI mods from Curse Forge. That's probably why they're not showing up for you.

I'm too lazy to download it right now, but how is the experience? I only checked some of the images on the page but it seems like they made it so that anyone can basically slap assets/objects together like a modelling software (like Blender).

Like I said, I haven't really dug into it yet—just opened it up for a quick look. Honestly, I'm not a modder. Never made anything serious before. Sure, I've messed with a few textures and made some tiny tweaks back in the day—stuff like Mass Effect or Star Trek: Armada—but nothing big.

I downloaded the inZOI Modkit just in case I ever decide to dive in. No solid plans yet, but I am thinking about creating a way better version of my Zoi—because the one I've got right now just okay.

We're waiting..

Just found out this thing on Itch.io is a straight-up scam. They're ripping off artwork and assets from legit Adult DAZ 3D artists on RenderHub.com. I know because I have an account there and I use DAZ Studio myself. These scammers are just slapping stolen content together and pretending it's some kind of "mod."

I honestly don't even know if there's a real WickedZOI mod for inZOI actually being developed or if it's just all smoke and mirrors. Part of me is hoping the folks behind WickedWhims for The Sims 4 are involved in its real development, but right now it just feels shady as hell.

- Where I found out on Lovers Lab.

- the original person from Reddit who figured out it was a scam.

Do NOT support Wicked Zoi. It is a scam using images from DAZ 3D artists.

This is not a real project. Please report them.

They are using pictures from Adult DAZ 3D Artists from

The images and media used are NOT real images of their so called project. Proof below.

All links are NSFW!
Project Link:

They use images from this Artist store (again NSFW!):

This Artist store:

And "animations" (Just images, not Real) from this Artist store!

DAZ Studio is free 3D software that you can easily create HD 3D characters with. They went with images of these assets for a reason. Easy to be fooled with the images they used as they can look close to the Zois from inZOI.

The rest of the images are most likely from random Visual Novels.

Do not let them get away with this scam!

Use the report button on their page or they may very well make off with $10k!

Please Upvote this post! They almost raised $5k of their $10k goal!

Holy shit, and I was about to donate fifty bucks to see some rip-off.

Now that the name "WickedZOI" is gone, I suppose "SinZOI" would be a better alternative?

Personally, I've always wanted the mod to be named just about anything other than with the Wicked branding. Unless TURBODRIVER legitimately just prefers that because they decided that the term Wicked could be their thing in and of itself, I am in agreement that SinZOI is right there. But to my knowledge, other than TURBODRIVER taking an interest in modding inZOI when the appropriate tools are ready, I don't even think a name or anything has been decided, let alone started.

Either way, I definitely knew the page was suspicious just off the images alone since it genuinely couldn't make sense that they achieved that much, let alone without mod tools (that even at present still won't support scripting until borderline the end of the year.)

Exactly, you nailed it. Yeah I think SinZOI would be refreshing and more original. It still keeps that edge without feeling like it's just WickedWhims 2.0, you know?

And yeah, the Itch.io page? Looked sketchy. I kind of knew something was off. Like—there's no universe where that much progress happens without mod tools, especially scripting, which still isn't even supported yet like you said! Anyone who knows how this stuff works could see through that in seconds. It's like they didn't even try hard enough to make it believable.

Honestly, I just want the real project—whatever it will be called—to get the time, respect, and protection it deserves. TURBODRIVER's done too much for the community to have scammers come in and muddy the waters with fake hype and stolen art. Let's keep the support focused where it belongs.

Some of the first promo screenshots made me think - "oh wow, that's next gen stuff"
But let's be more objective:

  • starting with their "cat" mascot, this looks more like a giant pug-cat hybrid than an actual cat - and sets the visual theme for the game
  • their asian faces look more like the generic 3D doll á la DAZ or Final Fantasy, and nothing like real east asians
  • overall asianized theme is a turn-off, i can't stand contemporary korean pop culture and their misrepresentation of humans (white-bleached skin, heavy makeup even on males, plastic surgery etc)
  • many of the shown animations look extremely unnatural and robotic, which was okay with Sims3 fifteen years ago but creates a massive uncanny valley effect with the more photorealistically styled graphics engine here

Some things i only have tangential information about: Apparently the "age" is not a fluid process like in Crusader Kings, but instead there only are generic age ranges. While the actual supposed age of a person isn't even stated. Though i think it would make a huge difference wether a person is 18, 21 or 25 in terms of social interactions and perceived personality.

Like if you're a 45 year old male, a 25 year old girlfriend/wife wouldn't be impossible, but an 18 year old would be out of question just based on the lack of life experience and such.

Overall it also isn't really clear what this game is supposed to be about. In terms of gameplay, story generation and such.
I remember playing Sims3, you could start playing just a single dude, hitting on girls, getting married, start a family, get old, die, play the next generation and so on. Haven't really found much information on this game, except being able to spend virtual money on consumer goods and dance with random people on the streets.
