There pretty much aren't any; Apple does not allow side-loaded development, and each application must be digitally signed by either a developer or an enterprise certificate.

A developer cert can have up to 100 'beta testers', but they must all be added individually by device ID. Beyond that you need to put it on the AppStore, and if you thought Patreon was a bitch about what they'd allow, you ain't seen nothing (for example, the DmD sig would not be able to pass muster, as it is sexually suggestive).

An enterprise cert is used to distribute apps without going through the AppStore, but these are quite troublesome to get hold of, and subject to "internal use" protocols. Apple would revoke it in a heartbeat if you used it to distribute porn.

You know exactly who signed any given application, so if I used my enterprise cert (from my dayjob as a coder) to sign Love of Magic and put up a development link, Apple would trace that back to who the certificate was issued to, likely ban our apps from the store, as well as revoke the enterprise cert.

All in all a pain. Get a 'droid instead
