Unreal Engine - Iragon 18+ [v1.00.00 Prologue] [Repulse]

Literally unplayable. First I saw this game it was look promising. Like fable but with sex scenes. I played a couple hours and I can say it's like spaghetti fell into the sink then developers serve it with broken plate also add some rotten tomato souce on it. Also there is just one sex scene and it's censored. So don't waste your time it's just another milking project.

The rating comes from my feeling, which occured during gameplay. They can be explained simply with 2 words : boring, bland.

Combat is fairly boring, I dislike it. The controls are somewhat shaky, could be better. Game just felt bland to me. The character art is somewhat appealing, but that is probably the only positive thing I can say about this game. When I first saw this game I felt like it should have had a lot of potential, but now, after playing through the majority of it, (also, I did not find sex scenes, did I miss them somewhere?) I only see it as a cash grab.

Iragon [v0.95.2 Beta] is a promising game. Art style looks pleasing, design is good it plays decent and feels all around professional but it lacks on many things that would lead you to expect from this much quality. No save system, unbalanced gameplay, little to no sex scenes, I mean, it's not afraid to be violent at all, but the other part of the adult stuff we seek here on f95 is extremely lacking. If you are not here just for that, this is a good game. But otherwise? In my experience, I've seen only one scene, i paid for it to have it, and it ended too abruptly because i did something wrong. Now she is angry and i don't know what caused it. Sounds about like my own sex life but that's besides the point.

This game has actual voice acting and it's generally good, 90% of the time the microphone doesn't feel like it has been recorded by a mic bought from walmart for 3,99$. Combat feels good, but like i said, it is unbalanced and needs a lot of improvement. You die quick but there is no penalty for it. There is no reason for you to try again and be better. You just respawn with the enemies hanging around the way you left them. It feels unsatisfying. And about the story, there is little rhyme and reason for the things you do. You feel left out the whole time. Some of the unnecessary things takes place in the story had me go like "what? why? why would you put that stupid thing in there, it was so uncessary" and had me shrug a couple times. I'm not gonna talk about them to not give any spoilers, because, with all it's flaws i want you to give this game a try too if what you seek here is not just mindless sex here. That being said, you will still wish for some mindless sex, or any sex every now and again with how beautiful the models look especially. I couldn't give this game any lower score because someone put his hard into it and did a good job. I would say it is better than average, but the things that are lacking are too much for me to put more than 3 stars for this review as of now. I hope every negative thing I talked about becomes outdated with the game getting better as it goes.

Well nothing changed from then apparently.
I didn't download the version from here, I played the prologue from steam.

So let's begin with adult content, since it will be the shortest part to review: there is none.

I thnk there are 1 or 2 sex scenes, and they are censored, and frankly boring.

Other than that, your companions' clothes get torn when they take damage, and that's it.

Otherwise, the game is not that bad, I have seen way better, that's for sure, but it's playable.

My biggest gripe outside of the lack of adult content is the number of points of no return in the levels.

Why give me a fork that ends with a point of no return if the quest you are giving me goes only to one fork? Now, how am I supposed to complete the quest?
Just have the 'main' fork end with a point of no return if you really want that, and put a dead end in the secondary fork. But don't block my game progression...

All in all, it's a game, and there isn't much to tell to be honest, it's not good, it's not bad, it has a decent length, but yeah, if you want a good interesting and entertaining game, go look somewhere else.

I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be. Is it a slasher/rpg game with sexual undertones or is it a porn game masquerading as a serious game.

The visuals are appalling. The faces are deep in the uncanny valley. The pupils take up half of the face, so it seems completely dead. The voice acting is hilariously bad with a wide range of mic quality and accents. The animations are clearly motion captured (which is pretty nice), but they're so raw and shaking, that it's just distracting.

As a slasher game, it's terribly unresponsive. It takes time to swing, there's no sprinting, no defensive action besides evading. There's no way to replenish mana and health besides running around breaking boxes or standing around for a long time.

Story-wise, absolutely boring. It's the age-old tale of "haha young protagonist haha girl with magical pendant haha sex". The levels are very linear with barely anything to do in them besides run, slash at monsters, break boxes to replenish health and go towards the objective. There's clearly room for improvement by just adding stuff to find, people to talk to, environmental storytelling etc.

I'm spent around a half an hour inside the game, getting blueballed to the city with a slow slasher game and the first sex scene I encounter is some whore who covers up the genitalia while riding. Great, so it's a porn game that shies away from porn.

I wish I could say something positive, but I simply can't find anything. Clearly there was a great amount of effort put into this game, but all of it was just condensed into this slow, unenjoyable piece of garbage.

I just completed the "Liberate the Wetlands Camp" mission in Iragon 0.69. It's a pretty good game. Action adventure with lots of treasure hunting. But the sex is pretty much nonexistent. It's all teases and no delivery. Early in the game, you see a village girl and she lets you tickle her chest and crotch, but does nothing but giggle when you do. Then you are given the choice of having sex with a hot MILF or a big breasted virgin. It doesn't matter which one you choose because you won't be having sex with either of them. Then you meet the main female character and the most you ever see is an anime titty now and then when she takes combat damage. And her tits are so small. I had the opportunity to have sex one and only one time in the game. I was in a palace and I could have paid gold to have sex with a prostitute. But I didn't take her up on her offer because I mistakenly believed that I needed the gold for something important. I don't. Mana is important, not gold. So there is that complaint. No real sex content. It's so PG, that I could see them putting this game on Steam without the Adult tag. Another annoying thing about this game is that you can go in so many different areas to kill enemies and collect orbs and gold. But if you go in the WRONG area, the game will progress and will forever lock you out of all the areas you had not yet explored. I like the fantasy environment of the game and the combat is good. But the game is just that. A combat adventure game with NPC sidekicks. Yeah, you could say that this is an adult game because there is some nudity. But the adult content is like 1% of the game and it's all consequential. Like some random female NPC who was kidnapped by enemy soldiers and they had some clothes torn. That's it. That's hardly adult content. I know because I could name games on Steam that have way more nudity and way more sex situations and they don't have any adult tag. But I don't mind playing action adventure games and at least there is some erotica, so yeah I recommend this game. I am giving the game a generous four stars, but it's probably a three star game or even less if you consider the almost complete lack of lewd content. Actually, I can't do it. This went from being a really exciting game (in the very beginning) to being a game I don't even care about anymore because it's not an adult game. It's just an anime action adventure combat game with brief glimpses of unnoticeable nudity. I'm actually going to uninstall the game and not play it anymore. I'm tired of developers advertising their game as adult sex games when it is anything but. Oh, as far as the story goes. There really isn't any. It's just all go to this next place and kill as many enemies and collect as many orbs as you can on the way. That's it. The story only takes five seconds to cover. You could rewrite the entire story and change it to something else like "two people were teleported on one side of the country and now they have to fight their way to the other side and return home again" and it would have the same effect. Combat, combat, and more combat. This game is 99% combat and nothing else.

I am going to give this game a one star rating, because you have to give at least one.

The way you control your character etc is good, but, the game is not able to remove objects in the way of your character making it hard at times to find him behind, fx, a tree.

The graphics? Well, the characters are sort of okay. Jiggly tits in various sizes, but, the texturing is awful. The shadows are awful. The game is very badly optimized considering the low amount of resources it should require.

Making a game like this in Unreal is like using a missile to kill a fly.

The game sells itself as having sex scenes, including vaginal sex.
There is no visible sex. Everything is covered like if the developer is a Jehovah Witness. Maybe it's because they cannot make the animations right.

They might as well leave out the sex, remove the game from F95zone, and sell it to teens. There is a bit of skin (loose boobs when a girl is hurt a certain amount) but this wouldn't even mean an R rating, PG tops.

The thing I find it hard to cope with is that they sell it is a sex game. It is nothing of the sort. It is a "sort of maybe ok" RPG, but there is no heart in it, it's like an excuse to show boobs, and no solid story.

The HARDEST part?
You select a girl to go to in the beginning. The girl you select is killed, and the other one mysteriously vanishes. After a second, you meet another girl, Brenda, who has apple-sized tits.

FUCK ME! I DON'T WANT APPLES WHEN I HAVE SELECTED MELONS!!!

It's not that the game isn't entertaining. It's not challenging. There is no promise to get laid after a fight. Or even an option to get laid.

The merchant wants 5000 gold for sex. I bet there isn't even 5000 gold in the game. I didn't bother to try cheating because this game and it's developer are...

HO...LY SHIT! Finally a 3D game that doesn't make my Laptop run a marathon! AND it's Voiced too?!

Honestly, I think everyone is being too harsh on this game. And not taking things into context. It's only an early dev. Not full fledged. I can think of about 5 games that tried to do this but failed or have HUGE FPS problems right now. This ran just fine.

PROS:
-Motioncap, yeah, that's right, they mocapped this sucker.
-Voice acting-sounds like they actually got some professionals in on this one.
-Easy controls and fluid movement.
-Plays like skyrim, but very basic.
-music is great and the cues are on point
-Good models and polygons
-Felt like I was watching RWBY but actually playing it
-LOTS of potential

CONS
-some voice actors are definitely not VO artists and break the atmosphere sometimes, they need voice actors that have been in the VO industry.
-not sure the story is compelling. I liked Esmee. Too bad she died. The voice acting was really good for her character. And the combat was very clunky there. It didn't feel like the bad guy knocked that dude out with his elbow. That scene needs revising.
-For now the controls are very basic I'm assuming because there isn't a lot of gameplay yet. Once they get the mechanics in, it could be awesome! But they definitely need a 'Block' function assigned to the 'right-click' and definitely some alternate forms of attack, perhaps holding the 'attack' button for a charged attack?
-If realistic textures break everything for you, you shouldn't even try early dev builds. This has low-res textures for now, but certainly could be upgraded to something bigger.
-For the game size (8GB) it's kind of a lot for an early dev build, but if it means that the game can be played without lag it's certainly worth the sacrifice!
-I feel like all the characters eyes are too far apart. They definitely need to come together a little bit, it can be SUPER distracting. But the animations seem to be on point.

Other than that it's fantastic! The best early dev of this type of genre that I've seen! It doesn't lag, it's got potential, and it seems to have a future (unlike half the early devs ive tried). Unfortunately I would have liked to have seen a snippet of what the ero scenes would be so that I could do a review on that too, but there doesn't seem to be any. Oh well, hopefully if they do incorporate them it would be nice to have a mocapped version. Tho that might look too wierd or awkward. Lots of care is needed to bring this game into AAA territory. But I think with a tiny effort this could turn into a good indie game. They just need to swap out the bad Voice Acting audio. Blegh.

Why 1 Star?

-> Controls are very floaty, and something feels off with them.

-> Combat isn't very fun.

-> Spent 30 minutes playing it and found 0 sex scenes or lewdness.

-> Has a very long prologue section that doesn't really do anything and is really boring.

-> No gallery that I could find.

-> If you try to launch an older build, it crashes immediately and forcefully opens an internet window telling you that it isn't supported. Not sure why this matters, as its offline only.

-> Graphics are fairly meh. Stylistic perhaps, but yeah.

-> They game is advertised as you playing a female bisexual sorceress. So why the hell do I start the game as a male protagonist knight? Who also has a variety of magical spells... for reasons. Why are they trying to be a knight, if they are a powerful spellcaster anyway?

Maybe if they improve upon these things, make the prologue skippable, and improve the basic gameplay loop, then it might be worth playing. But right now it isn't fun to do, its tedious for the first 30 minutes and yeah. Played the 0.53 Beta.

If it gets addressed, I'll update my review. I'll probably wait a few releases before trying it again.

As a porn game its definetly a 0, its not even erotic, they say tis erotic, but that is false avetisement. Watching some tits, and 2 girls kissing for 3 seconds its not erotic.
There are a couple of sex scenes, the type you find in dating Sims where you pick options and you have to build the orgasm. In 2D the camera its fixed, you dont see the girl below her belly. That is what I would call a mediocre sex scene, and happening with a random prostitute doesnt help.

This game would be pg13 in the 90s. Well, i watched pussies in prime time in the 90s, so this game is for kids.

For being an unreal engine, it might be the worst graphics of any game with this engine, i geuss this is UE1 or something, it really sucks.

Whats good about the game? The voice acting,at least the girls, cause the main character is kind of soft, even when he is supposed to be manly and reasuring.

Game very well optimized compared to some made on Unreal Engine.
Character with actors, giving voice to characters!
An interactive story with choices that affect the world.
A complete world with different levels and different environments.
Magic Combat System.
Melee combat system.
Weapons and magic upgrade system.
Destructible.
It has a translation for portuguese from portugal that is very well done and excellent for brazilian players!

CONS
Need more body diversity between female (and male) characters is an excellent idea for a number of reasons and would improve the game. Seeing the same body types is boring - body diversity is sexy!
The keyboard key mapping is non-existent, the dodge key is alt but I could switch to Shift because it's easier!
Lack of option to choose difficulty
*Less more chapters, in 30 minutes I have completed the available chapters!

Well, I think that's what I have to say about game! I will favorite it when it has more content or complete I plan to come back! So this is ultimately a game about living a high fantasy adventure. But don't just take my word for it, try the demo for yourself.

As a game this is pretty junk. But, as far "lewd games" go, this is pretty good and it's way above average we enter "lewd VR games" territory. Take it either as a criticism of how awful "lewd VR games" are or me actually recommending the game. Other than that - it also manages to avoid many of the trappings of "lewd games", which either don't give you context for any of your actions in game or make you do loads of meaningless tasks over and over again for a crappy reward. Don't get me wrong - there is still planty of tedious in the game and story so far is generic and pretty bad. But I am going to cut it some slack.

If the censorship is lifted, I will change my rating. And when the game is no longer in beta. So it's very good, but for a good rating it's not enough if you could play more story, just play up one act and then it's over again. And you don't have to bring these little updates with you every time, you can just install a big update every now and then and that's it, even if it takes 2-3 months to get one out.

Big potential as a porn game, the dev decided to waste by "going for an M rating" and censoring the Ecchi area of the game.

Pro: Gameplay, especially combat, feels smooth.

Cons: Typical romance. We got plenty of those made in Ren'Py - many even way more unique in their art style, writing, characters, etc.
What's left is a boring cocktail of your typical fantasy world, a boring hero romancing boring girls, bad audio quality, and now even censored sex scenes.

On a side-note, the dev doesn't consider it worthwhile to advertise their game properly - no censored tag, plus "censored: kind of" in the op is dishonest and misleading.

Save yourself some valueable time, people, and move on. There are way better games in this genre.

While I did not yet go all the way to the sex scenes, if there are any, I'm still giving a fairly good score to this one.

It's pretty decent for what it is: a very small budget VR and non VR hack&slash game.

While the audio could use a lot of work (echo and average to low quality on the dialogues in general), the game itself shows promises.
It certainly won't be the next masterpiece of the decade, but it remains much higher in value and entertainment than most RPGM games already.

The visuals, considering the style chosen, are fairly decent, even if the textures on clothes are on the low side (seems to be painted on the body more than actual clothes.)

Don't expect a deep story, and somehow, I doubt this is what the dev is aiming at either, it is a hack&slash after all.

The boobs are a bit big so far, but there seems to be several more girls coming later on, hopefully, a couple of them will have smaller ones ^_^.

The main thing I want from this game is more. More story. More scenes with the lovely Erika. More cute and sexy women to save.

I really liked that the game was voiced. The voice acting was good.

Melee combat is pretty solid. I don't expect anything more sophisticated from an adventure game.

I like the art. The landscape and enemies are at about the level of detail I care about. I don't think spending more time on them would make me care more about the game.

There's a lot that could be better though. In VR this game triggers motion sickness worse than almost any other game I've played. I've got a pretty beefy computer with a 1080ti, but it seemed to get better when I reset my computer and shut down must programs, so I'm wondering if it's performance related and the game just needs to be optimized better. Yes, I know what a pain that is in Unity.

As far as I could tell, the only differences between the spells were visual. Maybe lightning was a little larger AOE? I don't really need this to be fixed, but there you go.

The game would benefit a lot from allowing players to access settings in-game.

It's a very cute game, but just little..

- Very little content (only 1 grope and 1 sex scene). You could finish everything in 10 minutes if you could skip dialoges and cinematics (which you can't, so it's another 'con)
