This game falls under the category of monster-capturing games. You kill monsters, do soul contract skill, and hey he/she is now your ally. There are 5 female and 1 male companions. You can have h-scene with them by clicking dungeon entrance in Karine Village, Talk, and choose one. And yeah... combat is janky. The key setting is bad too. You better change the keyboard setting.

The game is short with 4 hours of contents.

    Game is very average
The control foremost sucks the most and the mechanics of a 2.5 D annoys me a lot. There was no hardship in grinding on my first time playing, you can just binged it at low level with lots of potion. trying to beat this game with no pots is a challenge because of this crappy mechanics. The ero is good but not my cup of tea.

the game has very bad controls and unfortunately there are some bugs that definitely need to be fixed.
so unfortunately hardly to play no dark souls
The game is too difficult to begin with and is also difficult to play

    > 2 hours into the game, beat 4 or 5 bosses, unlock around 4 -5 girls as a companions
    > No f*cking sex scene beside the prostitution that you have to spend valuable in-game currency for. Why do you think I am even download your crappy ACT game for?
    > The side-scroller gameplay is not that fun. I am a fan of challenging side-scroller game myself
    > The dodge is so weird, just run baby, or play mage and buy a lot of mana potion which is extremely cheap
Conclusion: a hentai side-scroller with neither hentai nor fun side-scroller and fucking huge.

So I played through this game even though there were a lot of comments saying that it was really hard. The first boss does hit like a icecream truck but if you dodge instead of blocking then he's cake. Lvl up to 7 so you are beefy enough to tank his multi hit if you fail to doge. Bring around 10-20 potions and you will be fine. Rest of the game is really easy especially with two other characters. Play this game when you want to see some boobs and not when you wana fap if you haven't unlocked everything. (Don't know why people go into every game thinking they are going to jump right into the sexy time)
Story -is meh. Couldn't really get into since it wraps up pretty quickly.
Art-Very nice. I can appreciate the effort in the details in the characters...not so much the background.
Combat is like that o-f newgrounds flash games. 2.5D so you kinda know what you are getting into with that.
H scenes-You can tell the creator had love for certain characters than others depending on how many scenes they get. I give it points for at least begin animated.
Difficulty-you scale really hard after that first boss. Build Hp or Sp and you will tank through everything without a care in the world.

Final thought- Make it 2D, add a jump, invest in a good story\char, more variety of melee attacks (from chars and bosses) and boom. Game is twice and interesting as before.

Allright, I'm going to be generous with this one - 4/5 on the whole

Art-wise, this game is a solid 5/5. Both the porn and the regular art are genuinely good. But unfortunately, this game is held back by a number of flaws...

The game itself is a Streets of Rage-style beat 'em up, albeit one with a dark fantasy theme. The game also has a neat little gimmick in that you can revive and mind-control defeated monsters, which you can then take along as party members. Both monsters and regular companions can level and be upgraded, which is pretty neat. The engine works well enough overall, and my only complaint in that regard is that you can only hit enemies on the exact same y-axis postion. This means that your attacks will miss very often when you're facing enemies that move around a lot - such as that black wolf boss.

The controls, though... that's a different story entirely. The default keyboard controls are the game's worst flaw by far. They're just cumbersome and counterintuitive, and it uses a few too many keys. OTOH they can be remapped quite easily, which is one of the game's good aspects. It does take a few minutes, but you'll save yourself a lot of grief that way.

The game's writing is generally... decent. The plot makes sense. The characters are appealing enough. The whole thing is sufficiently atmospheric. But... the writing is just a bit too sparse. There's a hub town where you can talk to most of the special characters, but their dialogue is just absolutely minimal. Unless there's a story trigger or an intro conversation, selecting 'Talk' will just get you the same very brief stock reply.

I mean, that's just wasted potential, you know? A few more lines of dialogue would have given the characters and the game in general a lot more depth.

Again, the writing that's there isn't bad. But it's glaringly obvious that it could have been so much better if only there would have been a bit more of it.

The game's structure and progression are overall decent. It's slightly imbalanced, but to a tolerable extent. The worst of it is right at the start - you'll start off seriously underpowered, and you'll actually struggle against the most basic enemies. Grinding and levelling are easy, but it'll take about an hour of that before you can handle regular enemies on your own.

Then there's another difficulty spike when you hit Hunter Hamilton, the first boss. Big difficulty spike. Even with a party of the strongest monsters you can get up until that point, Hamilton will just absolutely murderfuck you unless you're 1) constantly guzzling potions, or 2) have been grinding to an absolutely insane degree.

But once Hamilton is done? It's pretty much smooth sailing from there. The game will still be tough enough to be a moderate challenge, but it'll be quite managable frome here on. Especially if you resurrect Hamilton and recruit him as a companion (which you should, because he's every bit as much of a beast as a party member, and looting his weapons isn't really worth it).

Most other bosses can be recruited in the same way, and this is well worth it.

Then there's the porn aspect of this game...

The art itself is, like I said, amazing. No complaints on that one.

Another thing I liked is that not all of the sexual content in this game is defeat rape. You can actually have sex with the female monsters you've dominated. You can also pay merchant girl Lamia for sex. And when you're in camp, you can even have sex with your female companions.

    However...

The catch - and my main complaint - here is that this *only* works for the male protagonist. If you picked either one of the female protagonists, your only way of getting any action is defeat rape.

Oh, and there's naughty nipplesucking mimics. And you get a free option for walking around with your tits out (Half Nude Mode in the menu). But that probably isn't what you came here for, is it?

If you're like me, you opened this thread, you immediately noticed that screenshot of that female protagonist scissoring with another girl, and you were like "fuck YES". It's not that common for games like this to give you a good opportunity to lez out - and I like it all the more when it's lesbian content with other plot-relevant characters. Which did seem to be the case here.

    ...but alas.

The character, Kamui, is a bonus character who only becomes available after you've finished the game once. She has no plot relevance, and she doesn't even get any lines. So much for my hopes that she's a romanceable companion or something.

But to add insult to injury, you can't even access that scissoring scene in-game. The scene is unlocked in the gallery once you unlock Kamui - but you can't actually trigger it in-game in any way. Even though Kamui also has a straight sexscene with the male protagonist, which can be activated in camp just fine.

Honestly, that pissed me off just a little bit more than it should have. It's probably just a minor oversight on part of the devs, but still.

I mean, I like my sexscenes with a little buildup beforehand. That's why I play porngames. That little bit of buildup + interactivity can turn an otherwise unremarkable sexscene into something great.

...on that note, even most of the straight sexscenes are reaaaaally lacking in buildup in this game.

I mean, you know what most of them are like? Go the the dungeon entrance in town → click 'Team' → select some character with a heart → click 'Sex'. And then you'll be having sex out there in the open. Rutting in the gutter, right next to where Conette is standing.

You don't even get the chance to go to a quiet spot or anything.

Barring the defeat rape, the only real exception to this is the prostitution sex you get from Lamia. At least that takes place in or next to her tent instead of at the town entrance.

The whole thing is just another wasted opportunity, really.

    ..

The clunky default controls, the terse writing, the extremely barebones way that the sexual content is handled, and the lost potential in general - all of these things hurt this game a lot. This game would have been 2 stars at most if it wouldn't have been balanced out by its strong points.

But at the same time, those strong points should not be dismissed. It's still quite decent as a game overall, and the art is amazing. And even the porn is actually good - it's just that the ways to reach it in-game leave a lot to be desired.

So, in all, I'm giving this one a 4/5

honestly i thought i'd like this game (i've learned that sometimes even 1-or-2 star games can be fun for me) but tbh i think it's just sort of "eh"

combat isn't the worst thing i've ever played, but it's definitely not that engaging. i think i'd enjoy it more if i could get scenes of all protag options as any option myself by having a quick-swap function or something, but since there's not that, it instead means i need to either play through the game multiple times, or try to do multiple saves simultaneously (i've been doing the latter and it's okay)

most of the scenes are really "meh"--i liked the spider one with the blue haired girl, but feel exceptionally neutral on most of the others. the scenes as the male protagonist are really boring and cookie-cutter.

i DO quite enjoy the fact you can recruit pretty much every (maybe literally every?) enemy to your side, and even play as them--but overall, the game feels bogged down and slow enough to the point that its simplistic mechanics aren't charming, and are instead just annoying.

Very hard especially if your looking to jack off while playing. Story just isn't there, there are way to many controls, and there's no unlock gallery option. Honestly I don't have the time to do the beginning its way to hard. :(

story : might ass well treat it as non existance except for story between Npc which is quite nice but still go nowhere
gameplay : ball. one simple word it suck ball the combat was so horrible and not suitable for soul like game at all (bruh the first boss is unironically the most fun one)(who the hell make that you cant use the same button for attack and confirm)
art : quite decent art style but sex screens is incredibly lack luster (byleth bait smh)
overall : pretty bad but the game do have some enjoyable moment when you know how to play it (still not worth it in the end)

The game is pretty mediocre at best. Gameplay is clunky as hell trying to imitate a "souls like/dark souls like" feel but failing spectacularly. Balance is out of whack, the early game is pretty punishing with shit controls and half assed mechanics but once you reach the mid game to late game and learn the games mechanics it becomes so easy that the game almost plays itself. The different gameplay elements like class system and equipment system are so poorly done that it would seem like an afterthought.

The story is so generic and inspired by dark souls but it's not interesting enough/unique to differentiate itself as a rather poor clone.

    As for the game's H it's quite decent/good for a quick run.
SUGGESTION = UNLOCK GALLERY AND Have Fun looking at the pictures/some animations.

Story and characters are terrible, just stock anime bullshit with a light coating of dark souls.
Sex scenes are short and dull. If you had some context for the scenes they might be ok but since the story and characters are non existent you are better off just googling anime tiddies .
The gameplay is some of the worst ive ever seen, its janky, clunky and laggy.
The controls are just incomprehensibly bad. As an example you use abilities by clicking O+U or O+J, etc. Menu controls are equally stupid. you enter some menues with enter, some with j but you confirm loading with U. WHY?! I could go on about just everything in wrong in this department. If you are dead set on making this game keyboard only why not use a control scheme that makes sense? What were they thinking ?!

Game has no redeeming qualities besides mediocre CG images. Stay away.

Some of the most horrendous gameplay I have ever experienced. Flash games from the 2000s played better than this. Movement, dodging, and blocking are extremely janky and make it an absolute pain in the ass to play. Gave up on this after 20 minutes.

Only reason I'm giving it higher than 1 star is because there's voice acting and the scenes are actually good, but they aren't enough to redeem the awful gameplay experience.

Dark Souls game that you can only move in the 4 cardinal directions and can only attack on your left and right. Just get NSFW mods for Dark Souls. The NSFW scenes are the usual meh quality, nothing about it made me remember it and I just saw an H-scene 3 minutes ago

    Just don't with this one.

I had my eye on this game for a little while and waited eagerly for the translation because of the art. Well, in stills it looks great-- but the animation quality is bad, and the game itself is even worse. It has an interesting mechanic where you kill enemies and resurrect them to become part of your team, and there's 3 characters you can play which changes the scenes, but wow are the controls clunky and the power scaling bad. Enemies are butter until you hit the boss, then you need to grind out currency to level up you and your buddies. Yuck.

I actually bought this from DLsite before it showed up here. Gameplay wise it plays like a beat-em-up. Controls are very stiff and animations janky, but I got used to them and managed to get through the game smoothly. The keyboard controls are a little awkward to get used to but you can rebind them.

Antivirus doesn't like the game so get that sorted out otherwise you won't be able to save.

The style and tone are very similar to Black Souls, but with real-time combat rather than turn-based. Besides that, it's basically Black Souls but inferior in terms of plot, characters, gameplay-depth (although you may consider that a plus if you had issues with Black Souls combat). The h-scenes are animated, but they're just simple tweening and don't have dialogue during them like Black Souls.

Still, Black Souls sets a high bar, and this game comes closer than any other h-game. Worth checking out.

God awful combat with terrible enemy ai.
Slow movement it wants to be a soulslike but the combat is just so fucking awful with terrible controls to boot. Double tap to dash with an analog stick is super finicky. Enemy AI is just pong but they all target you.
Art is good, but not worth suffering through this garbage
