BLUF: A standard, solid RPG with not quite enough H-scenes; as usual the value added from those (few) H-scenes will vary according to your taste. I don't think I recommend this title unless you really like playing standard-fare RPGs AND have the patience to see those H-scenes sprinkled in.
Despite what some reviewers have said, the game isn't short--it's probably standard RPG length and has six distinct "acts" complete with title cards. (Some reviewers said it took only a few hours, but my completely-honest, no-cheating playthrough took me 15 hours.)
On the game side of things, this one is notable in that it employs a skill point system that you apply to various trees (recovery magic, offensive magic, support magic) in order to purchase spells as you level up. It's interesting, but I don't think it really adds that much above the typical progression of automatically learning spells as you level up.
Characters have well developed personalities, with the typical Japanese love of friendship and teamwork on display in their dialogue. It isn't noticeable at first, but the dialogue seems to be an interesting amalgamation of Japanese-->English translation for the majority, but the H-scenes have a decidedly British dialogue, complete with lots of British slang. It's just the overall tone, so it doesn't totally break continuity, it's just a weird inconsistency.
Other reviewers have described the plot already, so I'll focus on the H-scenes. Some of them are event based, some of them are monster/combat based. Unfortunately, only a handful of monsters actually have H-scenes. I've ordered the h-topics according to my own opinion, so as usual YMMV:
