Is having a flashback to childhood legal?

Hey, I am thinking of creating an adult game. There is one scene where MC (female) has a flashback to childhood. There is absolutely nothing adult in nature in the entire flashback, and zero nudity or anything close. It simply shows a childhood trauma that influenced how MC behaves later. There are however adult scenes later in the game when MC becomes a grown women. Is this legal in an adult game? Or is this considered underage content?

it's perfectly fine it as been done in several games already, look for the "the lewd knight" the introduction is the main protagonist being a child.

but i get why it may seem off to have a kid in a porn game.

It's probably legal in your country if porn's legal there, check with a lawyer for better info, but a site like Steam doesn't allow games with that.
