One user claimed they have a game with altered files

I have downloaded games from them before and now I'm quite concerned.

I download a lot of games from there.

Not trying to pick a fight but the uploads here are schizophrenic with what they allow. You have some great VN's with no sex then the next day they get rejected, the day after another appears and they can never fucking agree on whether they are allowed or not.

Ranting aside, I find myself on IGG looking for the ones that get rejected here.

That happens only with rule 7 stuff. Not so much with games that have less or no nudity or sexual content.

But, IGG-Games altering games with their adds to visit their site. Or putting tons of adds inside of the game, also from time to time they watermark the cg/pictures of the games. The best thing is a dll they use, you need this dll or you can't play the game anymore.

Download Kinkshamed from IGG-Games - search for the igg-games.dll -> delete it -> start the game = they altered the script files, so if you delete this dll you cant play the game anymore!

Download Porno Studio Tycoon from IGG-Games - look at the cg/pictures, they have watermarked them!

Now the real question would be: what does the igg-games.dll actually do? Does it harvest data? Does it mine cryptocurrencies? It could be just a dud but why would they prevent the game to be launched without it then?

Whatever it does, it isn't any good for the user. I hadn't even heard of this place, but I'll certainly avoid them now.

Generally never liked IGG - as they have both put spyware ads and other stuff on their site. And they also alter game files.

Then there's the fact that they doxxed another the guy running another site (Good Old Downloads) - posting his personal info, as well as his family's online. As a threat, to force him to shut his site down. (which he did)
