Some assets on sites like renderhub are created based on famous character in games or celebrities. Is it safe to use them in a visual novel gamem, Or I need to obtain a license or permission for original author or the person.
Usewell I don't want to use celebrities or game models, but it is hard for me to find out whether the model is copied from an actual person or game character. I generally check the comments and they don't even mention that. I was about to buying one and i just found out that in the last second so removed items from my cart.
I totally agree with you about the moral point of it.
Thank you very much
Unfortunately, a model that i was using was in the thread so i deleted something around 20 renders (that cost me to lose two weeks and money). now, I am checking both AI and the thread to become ensure about not using any character that look likes a celebrity or game character. Also I am not going to use renderosity and renderhub as they are many characters there based on real people. Also find out that a few creators on daz3d are doing the same thing, take HID3D characters as an example.UseYou must be registered to see the linksfor reference.
By morph do you mean body or face morph, and to be honest when I morph them they don't look like good anymore. I tried to use character creator to morph them too again it was a failureWhy are you just using characters out of the box? Morph them a bit, make them your own, and you'll never have to worry about this even if the asset is supposedly based on a real person.
Both. Just takes practice to figure out what looks good.By morph do you mean body or face morph, and to be honest when I morph them they don't look like good anymore. I tried to use character creator to morph them too again it was a failure
