Is itch.io allowed as a mirror?

Hello everyone!
I would like to share the game I am developing with the forum and I read the Game Uploading Rules, but I had some questions.

About rule 2 and Approved File Hosts:
"You must provide 3 or more mirrors where possible, using only Approved File Hosts."

My game is free for everyone and is uploaded at Itch.io, so the following questions arose:
* Can I use Itch.io as a file host, even it is not on Approved File Hosts?
* Can I use ONLY Itch.io as a file host?
They have a download counter and it is interesting for me to know how many people have downloaded, in addition to this being the official link, so I will always be looking to keep it online.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not grumpy, I'm just coded that way.

Then, and as far as I know, the mirror rule don't directly apply to you. If you can provide one or more, great, but else it's an uploader that will take care of this part.

You can share an itch.io link *here*, but for it to get promoted to the Games list, they'll remove the itch.io link to the files and replace them with (non tracking) mirrors. You can keep your itch.io link in the "about the game" section.
