I recently played RJ01041897 by OMOCHIKOUBOU and got a feeling that reminded me of NEKOKEN's game SLEEPING GIRL (RJ151741), and as I kept thinking about it, I also felt like the structure of the game was nearly identical to SLEEPING GIRL. When I went and took a look at NEKOKEN's 2D works, not only do the artstyles look extremely similar to OMOCHIKOUBOU's works, which are all 2D, even the subject matter seems to draw on the same interests. Since the last credited NEKOKEN game is from a year before the first credited OMOCHIKOUBOU game, I'm already pretty convinced that NEKOKEN rebranded to now focus on 2D works, given that all three of their recent games have been that. I just wanted to know if anyone else sees what I see and I don't sound like a conspiracy theorist or something.
