Is there a way to get notified when there's a new patch for a certain game that i like ?

as the title says .
i know i can watch certain threads but i will only get notifications of people making reviews of that certain game, which i don't really care about tbh.
say i could make a list of games that i enjoy a lot and as soon as there is a new patch to it, i would get an alert , that'd be awesome.
i check the latest updates section daily but isn't there an easier way ? especially in the rare case that i would miss out on an update.

You can join the discord if the dev have one, normally he post a message when an update come
