Is this a porn game or just violence?

Would you play a game that focuses on sexual violence?

both-why[1].gif

Off the Cuff had similar themes of cutting with mutilation. Cutting Room probably takes it too far.

Your game likely fits somewhere in between in intensity. Don't expect a large audience for it.

one of these things is not like the others. So yeah, cutting girls up with knifes might be a bit far out for most people, but as long as it's optional, sure, why not.
Punching's a bit out there too when it's unclear what's getting punched. Especially on the head, but ballbusting and cuntbusting aren't regular stuff for the average citizen either.

Why is everybody rules-lawyering this? First the guy himself and now you, Jaike? ;(

Also, like, the average citizen doesn't play porn games to begin with. Or if he does it's vanilla slop. So if you want to make vanilla slop to maximize your chances of cynically attracting a big audience you always can, I'm sure the world is holding their breath for WMV 2: Electric Boogaloo. On the other hand more niche or "hardcore" things can also find an audience, provided they're quality. Even more "mainstream" things like Desert Stalker have some pretty crazy violence in them, it's not like it's the main theme in every encounter, but you can literally almost smash a chick's head in and then fuck her face while she's barely conscious in that game, after you killed her friends. But later on it turns out she is into that and I guess that makes it okay for Patreon (???) Oh the game also has a pussy setting at the beginning where you can disable all gore and violent options.

patreon doesnt allow non-con even if the character gives consent before it happens

How the hell is giving opinions on what people like or don't like (or can take vs can't take) rules lawyering?
It's fine. I didn't intend to suggest toning down their game, :D just highlighting another aspect that seems extreme to the average person, who doesn't play adult games but does occasionally report them, and the average poster in general discussions it seems. Maybe if it was detailed a bit more by the dev what the punching was, it might've sounded less extreme and repliers would've filled in less with their imagination.

Then again, the response could've still been negative.

If WVM 2 has as much mind wiping and personality deletion as the original had years back, it probably isn't going to be vanilla tho...

I just read it more as slapping a girl around but maybe I misjudged the sicko OP and he meant beating a girl until she has brain damage. Then again, I'm okay with that too, it just depends on the context and how well it's done. I did enjoy that scene in Desert Stalker, but that's like a pseudo fantasy apocalypse Mad Max type setting and her and her crew were raiders who just tried to kill you. I mean bashing her head in and facefucking her is still fucked up, but it would be very different if you put that type of interaction in a normie college setting type game out of nowhere. It's all in the details.

I'm absolutely not interested in what I deem to be unnecessary violence.

I don't want to choke out or punch anyone in the face when I'm trying to breed them, I also definitely don't want to kill a woman I've raped, it defeats the whole purpose for me.

This is called ryona. A lot of people will virtue signal not liking it, more so than even loli or NTR, but there's definitely a market.

I'm kind of put off by the "with consent." I'm not necessarily opposed on principle, but when you put it like that it sounds like it's just going to be a thing you're forcing to appeal to censors and/or squeamish people.

You'd be fighting the payors (credit card companies/banks) at the end of the day, and they always win.

I watch and play a lot of weird shit, but when it comes to violence and porn I feel like they don't quite mix for me. That's not to say your idea is wrong, but I personally would not play it. Even if there's consent I really rather not do that kind of stuff.

I guess I just don't like beating or slapping a girl around... even if there's consent and it's all fake. I don't have it in me

Stop lying. Consent is just Patreon's fig leaf, getting debanked is a risk for all porn regardless of content.

Just Patreon huh?

Edit: Yes, all porn is currently getting hammered harder than any individual type and they all run risk, but currently the ability is there for the payors all the way down to the individual sites to hammer down based on content type. Some sites (Patreon) have just eliminated all possibility of issue. Bigger outlets like Steam largely ignore these due to their size and the unlikeliness of anything actually happening. But everything is in position for a big kick in the nuts, Patreon style, everywhere.
