ALRIGHT. Played through the prologue. Will try the rest of the game.

This is, without a doubt, written with *heavy* usage of AI. At least I think so. The signs are plastered all over. A biiit strange considering the actual character art is unmistakably hand-drawn.
EDIT: The creator has provided clarification. The translation specifically is done by AI. The script was not written in English originally.
The fact remains however that some BGs are made via AI. Take that how you will. I don't care as long as the creator isn't directly profiting (donations are fine). And this game's free.

NOW, I don't mean to witch hunt. Witch hunt bad, blah blah. I'm going to tell you how this was *as a game.* It'd certainly be a lot more helpful if you were transparent about it in f95, y'know <.<

AS A GAME, narrative wise. I think this is alright. Enjoyable if you're into the loser to epic gamer growth trope. I certainly am. I'm one of those people who think Redo of Healer was a good anime for the kind of fantasies it lets the viewer project themselves into.

    And woah woah woah.
This game suffers from the single largest trope plagueing (is... that how you spell it?) the revenge genre.

    **Comically evil villains.**
Oh no, the abject horror. Whew.

Evil villains that exist so that the protagonist has a root cause for their action. Riko and Jin are just fucking evil with abso-zero redeeming features beyond "they look pretty/handsome". I think they could certainly use with a lot more characterisation/background and *motives* behind what they do.
Megami is cool, I like her. Somewhat. There is proper motive, but it feels a bit shallow when thinking about it.

The goddess is the best character so far. She has actual motive. One that protagonist can relate to.

Pacing feels just right. Given that this story is more of a "human direction ai writer" thing, that's commendable. I study these things at college and LLMs just seem to want to pace through everything ASAP. EDIT: The story was written by a human in another language, then put through an AI translation.

ps. This review will change once I've finished the game in its current state, in a few weeks or so.
    pps drink water, merry christmas.
