VN - Ren'Py - Island Echoes [Day 1] [Cosmobot-7.0]

Still at the very beginning, early stages of development, but seems insteresting so far! I like how the characters interact so far, different personallities.. Hopefully there might be serious changes in the story depending on the path the MC chooses to follow

What is this? Is any of this real? What I think I know - It's two stories in one VN, a plane crash and story about the MC's ex who is (probably?) dead but overall it all feels like a creepy horror story, rather than anything else. All I'm left with after reading this is questions. Are the plane passengers dead in the crash and this is a dream, a coma, his final moments as he dies? Or is this meant to be Purgatory? Is the island a place to make them suffer their sins in life? What's with the creepy text file that downloads to your desktop from the dead ex girlfriend with the game? Is all this weirdness just bad writing and mistranslating?

The art is good (plus 1 star) but the dead ex is the only good looking one out of the four however there's nothing sexy about the two scenes that are with her; just sterile and odd. None of the women are potential LI's. The other three your stuck with on the island are a crazy bitch, a weird goth and your nagging Mom. What's the appeal here? What's the reason to read on? The story is depressing, as they are all likely to die from an animal, lack of water or starvation, if they are alive they will be in pain and misery. I've read a few weird VN's before and this one is really bizarre. The only thing I'm left with is questions but I don't want to read the next episode to find the answers. I'm sure some will love this but its not for me. 2 Stars

Good demo. There is a number of choices in the game that leads to different scenes but too early to tell if it leads to true divergent paths. The renders are crisp and good. The girl models are all very hot. Really like the ex GF model too bad she is not in the plane and will be delegated to the realm of dreams.

Day 1

There seems to be two stories, the ex-girlfriend of MC and the plain crash survival. The story is written on realistic style, leaning maybe too much on psychological and emotional side, as the characters are not that interesting and writing feels overall dry. Even if the writing does try to be artistic at some points.

On paper, the game has everything that good AVN needs; Pretty women, spicy situations, sex scenes and a plot to force character to do something. But the atmosphere is very serious/tense/desperate, so "ups, you see my nipples" -situations don´t feel sexual. Dream scenes work as a story/history building, but rarely as sexual scenes. In my opinion, there was too much energy used in trying to make those dream scenes feel erotic.

Visual quality is very high. But I personally didn´t find these skinny women sexy, cute maybe. Also small things like introducing woman as annoying bitch or having nose ring makes me wanna choose the option to interact with someone else, no matter how much the story does try to hint readers to choose otherwise. But at least there was an option that didn´t lead to instant game over, just clearly indicating that the choice was "wrong one".

Not entirely bad. Not very good either.

Story is there but .....Meh at best. English is mediocre at best. At least you can get the gyst and stay woth it without a huge struggle. Definitely not Engrish at least.

Um ok. 3 females and a male survive a lane crash. Nearly naked survivors runing around. And we get.....Lots of dream sex scenes from the MC.
