"The DMCA Takedown Notice provides a mechanism for copyright holders to request an Internet Service Provider (ISP), search engine, host or other type of site-owner/manager to remove material that is infringing their copyright. Unlike other aspects of copyright laws, the DMCA Takedown process does not require you to have a registered copyright. That’s very important to know, because some people may say you do. "

What about the DMCA?

DMCA stands for Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
It's American law, it won't apply if their hosting is not USA based.

No. You said "It's American"
Verbatim:
It's American law, it won't apply if their hosting is not USA based.
From the context of the phrase, American is clearly used as "pertaining to the United States of America" and not as "pertaining to the American continent".
Nice try, but I clearly mentioned the USA. The meaning is thus clear.
Or are you trying to tell me that in the USA people don't refer ever to themselves as American? Or that they don't call their country America?
Again, nice try.

I tried to sent something a couple of days ago.. and after checking for maybe a reply.. the only thing I could see within the fake email that I used (first time) were 4 russian mail.

I don't know if they were trying to hack my computer or anything with that (not an expert, so I don't really know xD), but glad I used a fake email.

What I find intresting the sold your games in portion. No, they do not only sell yopur games without your consent they also split your game in a lot of smaller ones - It exist 6 Melody games!

So, take this site down.
What I also think, why don't form an "adult game creator association"?

and now they actually have the audacity to try and threaten you by getting your game taken down, then when that doesn't work, they actually mention attorney.

presume u actually contacted them from patreon account that harem hotel is listed on?

You know, I have occasionally seen games with screens saying "If you bought this somewhere, you have been scammed".
I have always thought to myself "Who would get a free game and sell it off somewhere? That would never happen!"
I understand now.

Things like this have always existed and will always exist, but free adult games are especially rife for this sort of scam. Plenty of games do themselves skirt copyright law by using assets they have no licenses for and some break laws against portrayel of incest, bestiality etc. in their countries. So the scammer (correctly) thinks to himself "how likely is a guy like that to sue me?"

Add to that the relation of the high cost in time and money of an international lawsuit to the relatively small amount of money most creators make and you're pretty safe to bet on "nobody is going to do anything about this, so fuck them."

These sites are not charging for the game, but if you click the links to the downloads they are trying their best to make you pay for a subscription. These type of things have been going on for years, I have bought games in the past from Ebay that are clearly pirated.

I don't like to interfere here but I personally have been pirated several times.

I can live with it when products are in circulation for free. I just call it advertising and maybe they will come and even buy another product.

What I personally can't stand is when she does MONEY with it. I mean if you ask me and we agree on 70/30 I can possibly live with it because it is regulated and I am not left outside.

But what the site does is very bold and should be stopped.

I hope that a few of you who speak better english than me, who have written to the artists and who will be made aware of the site, will do so.

@thanatos69
That's punishable I'd rather not inquire that openly.

@Runey
I would rather post this contribution on 4CHAN and let the people do their part. If you need a medium against something like that, I think 4CHAN is good. I think they even support it.

I hope that the site flies everything around the ears. You see now already 1-2 days the begin at IP block and certain games offline take.

Maybe in 1-2 weeks the whole shit is completely over.

Take care
