VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - It's All Relative [v0.07] [Assassinsdick]

This game has poor graphics, although some renders looks quite nice. The characters look attractive. The story is a bit strange but enjoyable. The animations are poor due to bad graphics. Unfortunately in the moment it starts to get interesting, it ends because abandoned.

This game is a lot of fun, if you know what I mean. Some might find it repetitive, but I enjoy every minute of it. As described in the overview, a veteran retires and comes home to his 3 daughters. But also to his sister-in-law and his own sister and all of their daughters. He also comes back to the gym business he started with his sister and her life partner.

There seem to be no other males in the story, which means he has ample opportunities with his sister(s), the gym employees and cutomers and the needs of his daughters and nieces.

Much fun ensues.

I believe in rating based on what is offered. If you're expecting something mind-blowing from this game, it'll come in the form of the lack of width on the family tree, because this game is as cookie cutter as they come, with a story and writing far from what you would expect on a book, but in the end, it is what was sold and it is what was delivered.
You got a lot of girls, the incest flag waving at full mast, no pun intended, and that's it.
I skipped some dialogues here and there to make it a little less dense, especially with the lack of fappable scenes, but if you're going to fully skip, I recommend stopping here and there to catch a glimpse of the particularities of the tree I mentioned above, you might get a laugh.
My complaints with this game lie mostly on the animations, they're the whole point of the game, and they're honestly bad, with not that much appeal nor buildup and with a cranky and mildly annoying interface to navigate through them, which is the complete opposite of what they should be. Giving them sound is a good idea, but the ones they currently have are just plain bad, either swap them for some more anime-esque/japanese-y moaning ones, to go with the graphic aspect of the game, or straight up take them out.
The lack of Iris content surprised me, especially with how hard she was coming at the MC, I thought she would be the first one, but at that moment she pretty much disappeared from the game.
If I have to say, I'd have preferred that the girls wouldn't throw at your dick just because, like delaying the pussy rain for a little bit, but eh, gary stu syndrome I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Regarding the MC, the way he dresses sucks. He either looks overweight or for some reason like a doctor unless he's naked, and then he's the hottest, most ripped, and gifted man on earth.
On one last personal note, I'm not really a fan of the MC's hairy model, but again, just me.


So yeah, short review, it's alright for what it is, not much content at the moment, as it's an early version. Should take the opportunity to improve on the animation side of it given it's on a very early stage.

TL;DR: It's All Relative is still very early days, and the playtime shows that. It is a very standard harem game where all women/girls want to have sex with you, but characters and aesthetics make it stand out. This will be a big harem game, and I have no idea how I am supposed to remember everyone's names!

The Good: Incest! And the characters are all totally legal. The characters look great, and stand out. The dialogue is a nice mix of whimsical and erotic, and generally keep the plot moving forward. As far as harems go, it is on the bigger end of the scale. There is rarely a lot of time between sex scenes.

The Average: The scenes are a good mix of animation and still frames, but the animations are a little short and don't have many frames in them. The game has a few 'love checks' every now and then, this mean you need to save often to avoid missing content. Good system, tough.

The Bad: The addition of voices during sex was a great idea, but the voice files used are not very good. The buttons needed to progress certain sex scenes, "change view", and "faster", make it so one-handed play is impossible. I rather these weren't there at all.

The plot is nonexitant, the sound effects are decent at best but considering that they keep on going even after the scene is over I would prefer the game without them tbh. The dialogue is decent, especially if you compare it to all the other games on this site as the standard of english here is appaling. For some reason, the MC lets people know that he bangs his sister ,and insinuates that other family members are involved, pretty much without restraint and people don't react or care.

Now, why would I despite all this critique give this game a 3/5?
Well, it's because I have a pretty major incest fetish, especially when it comes to daughters and sisters

I find the models are between nice and really cute/attractive and when more than 10 girls throw themselves at you without any buildup, my dick is very happy, especially considering that most of them are related to you.

TLDR; If you like incest and don't have very high standards I think you will enjoy the game. I would give it 3.5/5 if I could but it's closer to 3 than 4 imo.

Does not mess around. The plot of this VN goes full tonto on daddy d*ck worship from the get-go, with eight definitely-18-yr-old moppets literally queueing up for a taste. And your sister. Who's the mother of two of said moppets. Usual cookie-cutter set-up: military-background MC comes back home from service, finds his girls are all grown up, blah blah. But unlike other MCs he is fully on board with the situation. Slightly overwrought text but it's a change from standard-issue Engrish.

Maybe a strong C-plus, a little higher if you're really into incest.

The English is a bit stilted, which isn't great, but the main problem is that this has no conflict to speak of. It's just meandering through the day-to-day of a dude with a dick like a javelin who instantly becomes a lust object for every single woman who strays into his line of sight, including blood relatives. The MC is barely aware that incest is a taboo and considers exposing himself to a new acquaintance to be roughly the same as a firm handshake.

It's just a little too crazily escapist to recommend. Fanfiction writers would tag this one "Porn Without Plot."

I don't know if the other reviews are from older versions or something but I personally found this to be a really good game.

Did the story develop quickly? Yes, but I much prefer that to some other game where you've been waiting for two years or more and there haven't been real sex with any of main girls. Quick story is an upside, it doesn't waste your time.

Is the MC a little pussyfooted? Sure, but partly that's because as an audience insert, all MCs need to be to some degree. Also, I'm not bothered by the MCs dialog almost at all. It captures well the thought and actions of a man who is going to do what this game is about, but also deeply cares about his family and wants to make doubly, triple sure that everyone is on the same page and ready for it all.

The game falls a bit flat in the sound department, there's no beating around that bush, but it's also not close to the worst I've ever seen and thankfully personally the sonics of a game aren't the most important thing to me. But if there was ever something to go back and improve, it's most certainly to get better moans/voice acting.

I really, really liked it and I think it will only improve with time.

• for an alleged Novel, “It's All Relative” falls into a vital misconception: its writing. a person jotted down in her/his review below; “dialogue and story is written by an alien.” I concur; even though I believe aliens would be way more concerned on the overuse of cliches and stock phrasing.

• “It's All Relative” has the potential to become a good VN if its author (Assassinsdick) reworks the writing — mostly the relations between the MC and his daughters and daunieces (this one is for you, Doc5252 ) —, making it flow more naturally.

• there’s no need for the MC to be constantly dumbfounded by his family members’ actions, dialogues, and desires; since their relationship seems to be solidly built on incest for a while, such reactions sound fake, making him nothing more than a simpleton.

• graphics and animations are a bit run-down but good, especially for a Visual Novel built with HS1. yet, i have to agree with another comment below: “The graphics look like the games that came out 15 years ago.” there’s room for improvement in this aspect as well.

• the corporate background instrumental music loop is dreadful; besides holding no relation whatsoever to the (already) witless plot, it has also been overused.

for these reasons, I rate it TWO Stars, although I would give it a 1.5 if viable.

It's All Relative [v0.03] seems to be a good start, your natural incestual family that treats it completely normal as of course they do. The renders are good and the animations aren't too shabby but could be better in the future. The writing is nice (which could use more humor in the future, but does have some) and seems to be going at a good pace. The reason I would rate it a 4 is because you know if you know that you played a game like this before(Deja vu). It does do enough to be different and should earn donations, promising stuff, and something I will keep an eye out for sure.

TLDR: Scenes are ok, SFX is repetitive and does very little to enhance the scenes. Dialogue and story is written by an alien.

I'll start off by saying that scene compositions are actually pretty good considering. It looks to be made in HS1, but I can't say for sure since I haven't used HS1 in years.

The story is pretty bad even for your standard porn standards. Very little setup for the actual sex pay off. The dialogue feels like it's either been written by an alien. Even if every single character was a sexually charged deviant, they comically outlandish, but maybe that's the creator's intent.

There's very little pacing between sex scene to sex scene which is a good thing if you're just looking to climax but there's nothing beyond these scenes to really attach yourself to any of these characters.

Will have to check it out again in the future but hopefully they'll work on the story and dialogue some more between now and then.

All in all:
A Nice enjoyable Fantasy VN till now. I hope for the Mc to enjoy it more, I mean it would be a bit too late to worry after havin chindren with his sister and sisters wife...
It has great potential to be a great VN, its off to a good start.

Imma be honest, the game isn't great. I like the tags, but that's about it.

1) The graphics look like the games that came out 15 years ago, and are nowhere near the quality of recent porn games. Not every game has to shoot for photo realism, but if you aren't aiming in that general direction you need a distinctive art style. This just feels lazy, like you found a pack of visuals you forgot to do something with 15 years ago and decided now was the time to use them.

2) Every girl immediately wants to jump on the MC's dick. All of them. Good lord, dafuq kind of writing is that? If you want to jump right to the good stuff and skip the buildup/corruption/love development or whatever (although that's the good stuff) then fine, begin your game with the characters having a pre-established sexual relationship and maybe occasionally drop some backstory while mostly sticking to porn. But having a father reenter the lives of, what, 10 girls, all related to MC in some way, and ALL of them instantly want to suck MC cock and make that VERY clear in their first interactions with MC in years? Please.

You get two stars instead of one I tried to power through, I really did, but I had to come back and drop it to one star. I like the tags, but between the visuals and the writing there is no way to immerse oneself in the story. Needs a fundamental rework, not tweaks here and there.

Absolute banger, one of the best things I played in a while. Goes straight to the point of the story, doesn't waste time on preteding to be deep. Unique character design, good dialouge which brings the point across as fast as it can, story almost never drags out. Excellent product, really hope this will get all the attention it deserves.
"I will watch your career with great interest" - is the best description of my feelings towards this game at this point in time(June 11, 2022).

I like the straightforwardness of the game, you know exactly what the daughters y nieces want, hell even the sister and it makes you want more. It has a good setting and also potential. The animations need improvement and I am looking forward to what comes next. Good luck to the dev.

I wouldn't rate it as Masterpiece something that doesn't have much story or pretty much any fap value in the actual state.

My complains would be:
Since its an early release and its impossinle to build up any character development, having like 12 girls right from the start is just too much. ITs somehow balance by the fact that every single one of them is a whore or will be in the next update (cause as i have said, there is not much time to build up anything)
But well, it is what it is, a "fast paced" game just that in the actual state is also blueballing.
Renderes look clean girls look decent and kind of different, and a coupe of them are interesting characters, but once again, there is to little right now besides whoresome moments.

I would rate it poor, but its visually quite smooth which is rare for this engine, and there is a massage scene that seems quite well animated. (its something pretty stupid to give importance to, but many many many games waste massage scenes with some default and basic shit, and im tired.

Still testing as writing this but as a new release it is pretty good so far.. good music choice, character models are spot on for the style its going for, Haven't seen too many broken english dialogue moments, which is always a welcome change.. storywise i'll add comments later as so far it seems sound enough but time will tell..
Looks like it can be a worthy replacement for all those sick and tired of games like ecchi sensei never releasing updates.. So long as the author can maintain a decent work ethic this might be a good on to watch for the future..
