Just finished FOTM games and I've seen some scenes between this new MC and Melinda. Can someone explain what's happening? What's the story currently about? What's the connection between FOTM story and this game? Why is she cheating on Daniel?Summary: Mid-30's "mom", "caretaker", "landylady" or whatever you want to call her, bails on her husband and marriage, taking two young folks with her because she was tired of being called a gold digger.
So instead she ends up in a 3 bedroom, 1 bath apartment, with no kids in school, and no job, until she get a grind fest job at a coffee shop run by a mobsters wife, and had a whore for a best friend (literally the friend has sex for money).
The young male character, who may or may not suffer from a personality disorder that causes him to lack any real empathy for anyone and only do things for himself (Narcassist disorder?) slowly "corrupts" the young female by flashing his cock for her daily for about 60 days, while magically talking her into doing naked and provocative pictures.
While this is going on the older female in the house, who is still too stubborn to even talk to her spouse, takes a job in a strip club, where the claims that she won't show her body and things, but within days or at most weeks, is stripping on stage. She also starts stripping around the house to supposedly 'condition' herself to get used to wearing less clothes at the strip club (which she said she didn't want to wear the slinky clothing to begin withas he initial objection to working there, which is conveniently overlooked within hours of her working there). Older female (Jenny) thinks the MC of the story is so naieve that an apparently 18 year old dude has no idea what sex, or nudity or anything else is, in spitre of him very obviously setting things up to see her and the young female nude as much as he can.
Fast forward about 200-300+ days and the MC ends up having anal sex with the younger female (usually before she will agree to kiss him with how the game is currently set up), and have the older female have no problem flashing her tits, ass or vag to him, all while supposedly getting so drunk every weekend that she has "blackout" sex and confuses the younger male with the male spouse. The older woman (Jenny) in the house has the lowest tolerance for alcohol ever with how much she sucks and fucks the giant deformed (look at the textures) dick of the young MC and apparently never remembers a single minute of it. Yep, literal blacxkout drunk every time, even though most would learn a bit of tolerance over time and the alcohol would not affect them as much.
Add in the recent developments, where the MC was given viagra and the older woman rushes him to the doctor because he "has a medical condition" and she now must fuck him daily/weekly to make sure his condition doesn't get worse. She has apparently never heard of viagra before, and the medical center she took the MC too miraculously ran NO BLOOD TESTS for drugs to rule out potential reasons for the apparently propecia the MC suddenly had (when it would Viagra or other drug would be the first thing checked IRL because of the known side effects when taken by young people). Along the way, Jenny's whore friend is encouraging her to do more sluttly actions and helping the MC fuck Jenny, all while seeing no issue with having her supposed friend used that way. The mobster wife (Melinda) now appears to be setting things up to actually have Jenny to become a whore like her friend and have sex for money.
The young MC loves all this because he has no empathy for anyone, and no morals, forcing both young and old women to have sex (which some call rape), which they either are too drunk to remember, or meekly take it, while "acting like they don't like it but they really do *wink wink nod nod* because when women say no they really mean yes, you just have to try harder", etc, etc, etc
TL;DR The 'corruption' events are triggered by uneven point values and you can get vag and anal sex long before the women agree to a kiss, and apparently just flashing a dick or working in a strip club is enough for a complete loss of morals and self-worth and engage in what were seen as reprehensible behaviors just hours or days before. Throw in the premise of "I got so drunk I don't remember the giant dick in my ass" or whatever body part there is, and a supposed BFF of the older woman who seemes determined to make her a slut/whore too (with friends like these, who needs enemies) and you have the current game.
Talking about how broken the event triggers are, how there is no actual flow chart of how the game will unfold and build the events to trigger so the story makes sense, etc. You end up with a click/grind fest game that substitutes real game play and progression with 300+ days of repeating the same actions day over day hoping some something to change, and a story thatr make less and less sense as it goes on.
There is already a sharing/cheating scene with the younger female charactrer that the player might trigger even if they aren't aware of it, and no way to avoid it once it triggers. Expect to see the older female (Jenny) either become a whore, selling herself to random dudes, stripping in the club and doing private shows in the backroom (with benefits) or other sharing/cuck scenes along the way. Expect the male MC to not have any morals of empathy for anything, including rape and forced sexual events as well.
People have offered the dev multiple feedback posts for the past 6+ months all of which have been mostly ignored, and each month the patreons decrease and the game becomes more nonsensical and broken, yet some still talk about how great each release is. It's like the band playing on the deck of ther Titanic as the ship sinks.If each game released has lower ratings then the previous one that should be a sign right? You'd think so, but nope, apparently not.

Short version of the answers, and because I stopped playing this hot mess a few releases ago..
This game happens in the same universe as FOTM, they aren't just the same animation models, they are the same characters. This game started as the main female character, Jen, running off with her two charges, because her husband called her a gold-digger one too many times (and ironically became a true statement). The 'typical' corruption happened, but the main person who convinced Jen to corrupt was her friend, who was a whore/prostitute and cheating on her BF by fucking others for cash on the side (she also worked in a strip club). The MC in this game appears to have a mental disorder because he's borderline psychotic with scenes that could be considered rape occurring.
However, over time, Jen has become a whore (stripper who fucks for money too) and general slut, which shouldn't be surprising since her whore friend was who convinced her to work in the strip club to begin with. The original main male MC was 'added to' in one of the newer versions with a second male character that can be played, and Jen is fucking him and other guys too for cash. Nadia, the young blond in the household is fucking other dudes a lot also.
Why is Melinda cheating on Daniel? Because she's basically a madam in this version, and she fucks around to, like all the other women in the story. Basically every woman in the game just wants dick and doesn't care who she gets it from. No loyalty involved what-so ever.
If you want someone faithful as a LI, this is not the story you want to play which some may say is unfortunate because Jen is a gorgeous character. And none of this covers the absolutely garbage tier sewage level of game play that exists with the grind needed to advance scenes with little to no guide or hints on what to do next. The rating of this game is well earned.

Damn... sounds like the bunch of request from people made this shit the way it is. I mean, FOTM's story at first was kinda interesting, tho the way things happened made no sense, and the ending was so rushed. If everything is exactly as you said, then whats the point?

It's a simple cheat that increases at will the fundamental parameters such as money and emotional/conscientious states of the characters in the game.Could you explain how this works?
