Gameplay
+ Point&Click Adventure game, where you solve riddles and get scene rewards
+/- You cant manually save this game, but it seems like it auto saves whenever you change locations.
+/- Game difficulty is okay. I know it from other Point&Click games, where you sometimes need alot of time to get the right idea, although the solution was in front of you.
- You can't combine items in your inventory, you always need to walk back to your home for that
- Quests are very intertwined. Barely any rest-stops with rewards during the game. This could make the game feel harder than it intended to be.
- No quick travel to next maps, but you always need to wait for the whole walking animation
- When showing hints while walking, causes the background to move, ands this will also displace the hints and it takes like 5-10sec until it fixes itself.
- You can still reach end of the game, even if you didn't do the shower gel quest.
Frequency of scenes:
- You need to nearly completely the whole game, until you finally get some okay-scenes, and only in the end there will be the most satisfying scene
Dialogues
+ Story is fine and text amount is very balanced based on the game type
--> All in one: I like Point&Click Adventures, and this one resembles the newer Larry games a little bit. But compared to others, this one had gameplay inconveniences and there were no real rest-stops during the game, because the quests were so much intertwined, that you feelingly had to complete the whole game before getting the good rewards. This game had alot of potential, if there had been a better grind-reward balance, which could have been done by making the game quests less intertwined. All in one, as a sex game, I would say 4 of 10.
Should I give it a try?
If you like Point&Click Adventure games, then yes. This one is actually good. Despite of the gameplay flaws and despite of all quests being intertwined too much, it is a game worth to look into. Just don't expect too many sex rewards. Bugs and gameplay inconveniences could be fixed in future, maybe. This review is based on the first release version.
