This guy is a time-waster who only knows excuses. He's really disgusting. I've been supporting him for over a year now, but I'm tired of him. He even passed over it without saying anything this May.
all the great developers started to make less updates. Icstor give us a update every two years. Lust and passion before give us an update every two months, now maybe one every four months. King B before one update every month, now update every two months. DeepSleep same update every two months now four months. Groover six months, now update every year, PANDP abandoned now. MarcialArt same as other. Stoper give us an update every six months now...

Yup, visual novels generally take 6-12 months per update now when 3-4 months used to be the typical timeframe. Porn games are in a sorry state at least in regards to this genre. (Also, Patreon cracking down on some content hasn't been helping either). I WISH Patreon would actually crack down on the milking instead... (but they won't because they profit from it too.)
Some might argue that the general increase in quality justifies it but... no. It's mostly better lighting and animations but most devs are using purchased, "canned" animations to begin with.
Same as every year, so everything within expectation.
The CONNOR needs time to create his enourmous erection, there is only so much blood you can pump through your veins in a certain timespan!

It's the same old tired argument here. How would "milking" be defined? Because they can't crack down on it if there isn't a set-in-stone definition/rule/whatever. Your (generic, not you personally) issue with this is that the devs don't say in their Patreon setup that they'll put out "X updates per year" or "updates every x months". If they did, you could point to that and say they failed.
But since on Patreon their perks are, for instance "Discord access and Access to each update 9 days after the initial release," you would need to show that you're not getting what you pay for (which is often different to what some people think they are paying for). Another tier here includes "Exclusive artwork", so if no exclusive artwork is forthcoming, you could claim that as failing to deliver. Just taking a long time to put out updates though, is not anything to do with Patreon, because no one is paying for their updates within a certain timeframe.

Hi, everyone.
Went through another slow month, and I really didn't need that right now. I should not have started with the edits and re-renders. They have proven to be much more of a distraction than I thought. They do make the game better, but I understand you are far more excited for new content than improvements on the existing parts of the game.
Next week I'll have the writing for the mini set I mentioned a month ago and I'll release it. Then on 15th I'll pause the billing cycle for a month, to ease the financial burden on you during this already too long delay. And I hope I have better news on the progress soon.

You should start to believe, usually updates 1x per year, but he is doing a rework, so be prepared to play the update with your not yet born baby & The CONNOR ofc.

I fucking hate reworks. The game might as well die because it takes a decade for all of them to catch up. I cant think of a single game that was remastered 1/2 way through development where the remastered was even remotely worth it.

just out of curiosity i checked his income during the last year, and it was relatively stable until he updated the game for the last time his income skyrocketed by about $ 1300 just with the new content update despite the fact that it was leaked almost immediately despite that his income rose by 70% , so either he is extremely conformist to maintain that inflow or he is absolutely stupid not to realize and take advantage of the fact that each update produces higher income, in addition to doing it periodically you can almost certainly say that it would optimize its benefits by having greater views, consequently greater support and income, at this point if he had managed the development of the game better with constant deliveries he could be swimming in money, he captured attention with a good story and one of the most attractive fmc in vn games but he missed the opportunity, stupidity or conformism?
