My 2 cents for what its worth. Devs use sites like f95 to advertise their stuff so that people get a taste, I have no issue with that at all, free is good. As long as there are updates of the game for free on this site I don't think anyone should be complaining about the timing or communication of said updates. The only people in my view that the dev should be dedicated to are the people ACTUALLY supporting them on Patreon.

I don't support anyone on Patreon (because my wife would kill me) and while its nice to get communication on updates for games that I like I certainly don't expect it because I am not an entitled brat. I have NO right to complain if I am not helping to ACTUALLY support the game. I appreciate all those people who are able and do support the devs of the various games that I like on here, they are the ones that keep the devs doing their thing. The people I DON'T appreciate are the people who in my opinion jeopardize the continued updates with their whining and complaining when they DO NOTHING to support the dev. Be entitled more for F sake.

Except those who praise the dev and the game here on this thread, as long as it is positive feedback they are entitled to make comments even though they are not paying anything, right ? And all those damned perfidious criminal scums who do not share the same views as us the "majority" with their negativity and realistic point of view of some aspects of the development, the game and dev to the oubliette! Wow I've never seen such a plurality of opinion since I fled Mao's China!
Listen friend, on the internet when there is a "drama" about something, the more you dictate how people should behave, the more they will be a pain in the ass. Just to take a look at social medias and some thread here to observe it, sometimes it's a f*cking zoo. And some might do more than that just to piss you off for your viewing pleasure and this will lead to more and "drama". So it is best to keep silence and let things cool down smoothly, cause it will, eventually.

Just be patient or get involved to have access in his discord server where he is more active.

There is a simple solution for that: Unwatch the thread.

After that you don't need to read his constant postponements and false release dates. Wait until the game shows up on Latest Updates and download it then.

If you are a supporter and unhappy with his communication and his workflow then feel free to unsubscribe. No one force you to donate to him.

I know many people that only donate when an update is available and unsubscribe afterwards again. I also know people that donate $100 every month and don't care about the money because they can.

ok praising someone for their work and complaining that they aren't communicating enough or exactly how you want them to are in my view two different things... what I have said about games in the past is something like "love the game hope to see more soon". That message does two things, it praises the work and encourages them to get more out soon. I am not demanding anything or ripping them.

To the people who thing ripping the dev and demanding whatever it is they are demanding if you think that encourages them to get more out sooner rather than later or even to keep putting more content out I will dare say I think that is questionable reasoning at best which tells me one of two things. Either you are just being a troll to troll or you are actively trying to get the dev to stop making the game and hurt those who are PATIENTLY waiting for more updates. Either way please stop acting like children.

I was sick almost all of last week and that messed up the schedule for my small bonus set. I had to resume working on the game this week, and I'll finish the bonus set in between working on the images for the game. I can't say when it'll be ready, because it depends on how much "free" time I can find while developing the game. But I'll message the link to all $10 patrons for October even if it's not ready by 31st.

That is how you develop a voice for your product man..there are lot of active people here...oh who we kidding there are lot of active perverts lurking in here , some might still will be perverts and some might will be perverts and patreons. Covid is the very best thing that could have happened to Devs when it comes to excuses. Feels like at least every second Dev mentioned Covid as a reason for delays. That's ~50%, although it should have been around 5%, if you compare that with the numbers.

You're talking about certain antibodies from the mother, but that also highly depends on the mother's current immunities and has barely anything to do with a newborn's immune system.

A newborn's immune system is in no way as developed as the mother's. Infact, it is especially weak within the first ~3 months after it was born, with a much higher risk to catch infectious illnesses due to the immaturity of their immune system. After those initial ~3 months, the cell-mediated immunity starts to develop, which is key to become more resistant against viruses of all kinds. This development lasts until the age of ~8, and at this point we usually talk about a fully developed immune system.
