Yes thats the right scene but I just get a system message saying that the game isnt responding

I assume you get to the dialogue "Yes...niiiicceeee and-" and then the game crashes, right?
An animation is supposed to play of her eyes closing; the game is seemingly crashing for you instead of doing that. Are you skipping thru the dialogue or just clicking the mouse button? If it's the former, try the latter; if it's the latter, maybe try putting the game on fullscreen right when it's supposed to play? If nothing works, I can make a special version of the script for you that skips this animation so you can keep playing.
I tried what you suggested but nothing seems to work, if its easier for you im fine with a save that takes place after that scene and thanks for the help

That's not really an option because that animation appears again two more times in the episode lol. It's a cheeky thematic motif. I'll make an archive.rpa file for you tomorrow where the animation is gone.

Oi, was it intentional that Duvessa's name can be shortened without vowels to DVS, like as in devious? 'Cause goddamn this chick is stone-cold and a fox! I don't normally feel the need to comment on games here, but I was actually very surprised by how much better this game actually is versus my initial expectations of it (no offense).
If the art gets cleaned up and you actually give us a real reason to care about Erika (sorry, not sorry), I think you have a real winner on your hands here for people that can appreciate a good story about a machiavellian duchess-heir to be.

As I say in the OP, the Erika relationship always happens, but there is a feature in the settings menu that lets you skip the H scenes.
Wasn't intentional at all; this is the first time I've even made that connection

in regards to expanding eirika's character I think august was a good addition as a peer serving a similar role and giving eirika someone to talk to that isn't duvessa, she has a pre-established relationship with the blacksmith/villagers but they don't really show up much, august and her share a background of being street rats but he contrasts with her enough that their interactions are nice to watch, not serving duvessa out of infatuation but more so because she feeds him and gives a roof over his head, and I suspect he's a bit of a closeted adrenaline junkie. he gives a good streetwise perspective to duvessa's dramatic grandstanding and eirika nodding along with whatever duvessas saying when it mostly flys over her head. duvessa is attractive which probably helps but she's also duvessa and I get the feeling our short king endures her bullshit and demeaning tasks because she's still his best option compared to street gangs and isn't blindly loyal like eirika is. its good stuff.

Thank you for another wonderful update to this, was rather surprised with how much content there was in this update (in a good way lol).
I'm playing the full dom femme fatale route, it's very satisfying seeing the pieces fall into place and how she can be so mask off with some people and they love her still lol. The way this one ended,

This game has a really great story with a good narration and interesting characters. Certainly one of the few games on this site that I enjoy playing due to the storyline. Maybe the creator is an author in real life who just enjoys writing down his dirty fantasies here. Please keep up the good work and high quality.

One major flaw in the story so far (just started out) is the first "clue hunting" section in trying to make an educated guess about where the money is going - there are far too many names, locations, and times to keep track of - without an in-game "diary" to help with making the decision.
Are we expected to write this shit down before making a decision? Because it is not a pleasant experience to have to memorize all those details in order to not "lose" the event.
EDIT: Just played it out after giving up trying to solve the clues and the game doesn't let you "fail" by railroading you into the correct answer. Which only begs the question of why present the player with the false possibility of failing in the first place?

TBH I think the "clue hunting" thing in Episode One was a bit of a swing and a miss. It was still really early on and I was trying different things but my writing philosophy has since changed and I won't be 'challenging' the player like that again.

I liked the clue hunting in the beginning of the first episode and I was pretty happy when I figured it all out on my own. I understand however how someone else could find it a bit annoying especially in a game of this type.
I have to say that after completing what's available to the current point I like it a lot, it's one of the most interesting renpy games on the website. One of those that I'd probably still enjoy even if you took out all the sex-scenes out of them. Fascinating plot(the heretic plot of the worshippers of Eadwynas is currently my favorite part), great characters, intriguing setting.
The one thing about it I would be critical of is the sex part, honestly at times I pretty much forgot that this game contains 18+ stuff in it. Some of the scenes were quite far apart and some others I honestly just glanced over to get to the interesting part of the game(the story). I have to ask does the sub/dom stat change how the scenes go or only which ones we can get/avoid?
I'd also like to ask is whether there's a specific release schedule for the updates. I will have to replay the game when I have some free time and try for some other options I want to see where that gets me.
Great work overall, I'm really interested in what comes next.
