I have to ask does the sub/dom stat change how the scenes go or only which ones we can get/avoid?

Haven't finished the latest update yet, still working on it. But I can say for certain from just the original release that there are some variations to scenes based off sub/dom score, beyond just having alternate scenes. For example:

If there are any straight scenes in this future plot line they'll be optional!

I liked the clue hunting in the beginning of the first episode and I was pretty happy when I figured it all out on my own. I understand however how someone else could find it a bit annoying especially in a game of this type.

I have to say that after completing what's available to the current point I like it a lot, it's one of the most interesting renpy games on the website. One of those that I'd probably still enjoy even if you took out all the sex-scenes out of them. Fascinating plot(the heretic plot of the worshippers of Eadwynas is currently my favorite part), great characters, intriguing setting.

The one thing about it I would be critical of is the sex part, honestly at times I pretty much forgot that this game contains 18+ stuff in it. Some of the scenes were quite far apart and some others I honestly just glanced over to get to the interesting part of the game(the story). I have to ask does the sub/dom stat change how the scenes go or only which ones we can get/avoid?

I'd also like to ask is whether there's a specific release schedule for the updates. I will have to replay the game when I have some free time and try for some other options I want to see where that gets me.

Great work overall, I'm really interested in what comes next.

Sorry, I forgot to respond to your question about the release schedule. My answer to that is that it isn't viable at the moment to have one, and the game will be ready when it is ready; if it is making more in the future and I can afford to just constantly be comissioning art, then this may change.

TBH I think the "clue hunting" thing in Episode One was a bit of a swing and a miss. It was still really early on and I was trying different things but my writing philosophy has since changed and I won't be 'challenging' the player like that again.

One more thing: Duvessa's fate is supposedly up to player interpretation (does she "grow" as a person and develop a faint sense of empathy for others; or stays a dominant power-hungry bitch), but her backstory so far would indicate her sociopathic personality is more the fault of nature than nurture. It kinda makes her "growing" seem implausible. How will that arc look like?

I mean latent in what you said is the idea that sociopathic people who are created via nurture at one point are normal, loving people and then just change, which I don't really think is true. The myriad factors that could be considered "nurture" usually take hold from day one. Duvessa has definitely never been a regular person, but that doesn't necessarily mean she was fated to be like that if born into different circumstances. I'll explore this more as the story goes on.
