I think you got an option in JPDE 2 after the prologue that asked which member of Team RWBY you took to the dance?

The game asks a bunch of questions at the prologue, and when meeting some characters that have divergent routes the first one usually a prompt asks you what happened during the events of the first game, something like:
1. I know that person
2. I have a physical relationship with that person
3 I never even met that person

No matter how many people you date, you still only get to choose one person to take to the dance.
But the mechanical reason is that it would introduce too many variables, sadly, if everyone you did was to be referenced in JPDE 2.
For example, romancing Pyrrha is strongly implied to result in her kicking Cinder's ass, but in JPDE 2 the outcome of that fight is the same since it'd otherwise have altered the plot at various points throughout the second game.

How you FEEL something should be used is not the same as how something is MEANT to be used. When you make your own website you can make the rules until then you are just wrong. You have every right to disagree and complain, but it doesn't make you right. Besides the tag is currently gone so this is no longer relevant to this thread.

Well ignoring the small infighting above me, I'm super excited to see what happens next. There are very few games on this site that I can say I genuinely enjoy the story of. So looking forward to what ever else you guys can cook up in the new year.
