Alright, down to business.
[Yuu End]
Yamagishi's cooking-Top-Top-Middle-Bottom-Bottom-Bottom-Bottom-Bottom-Top-Bottom-Top-Bottom
[Hitomi End]
Saeki's cooking-Bottom-Top-Top-Top-Top-Bottom-Top-Top
<General guideline>
1. There can be more than one way to reach the same ending, even the good endings.
The game seems to decide by gathering "points", based on the decisions you make, which manifest in how decisively the PC reacts to situations.
2. When you play through certain routes, the game will unlock "Perspectives" for you to view in your subsequent playthroughs.
They don't seem to affect the endings, but they unlock scenes, dialogue, and revelations on what had occurred behind the scenes.
3. After you unlock both heroine's endings, the game gives you a third route.
It's kind of like bonus content.
<Personal opinion>
1. As you can guess based on the routes above, the game is not expecting you to pick Hitomi in your first playthrough.
> That does not mean her route is shorter. The game is just giving you a nod that says "You know what happened right?"
> Hitomi is the "unlikely" heroine of the story.
A small cutscene even plays once you get locked into her route, as if to acknowledge she has hijacked the heroine role.
> Unfortunately, there is no *good* ending where you get both girls.
2. The characters in the game can make stupid decisions, either by script, or by choice.
> But to be fair, (1) they are hormonal teens, and (2) they aren't blessed with the knowledge that zombie segs virus is a perfectly logical conclusion.
> For better or worse, the game does punish the PC for doing things at the wrong place and time.
3. The VAs do a fine job conveying how a girl might feel after the watching their friends strip down to join a public gangbang. A good breakdown and manic screaming makes for quite a spectacle.
4. Translation quality is sufficient.
It clearly fumbles when referring to characters, and occasionally messes up descriptions, but the meaning is understood based on the context, and any mistakes do not diminish the story.
5. This game was made in 2008.
Some lines or characters might feel familiar, since certain tropes are now widely popularized.
<Overall rating>
9/10
The art is good, the music is fitting, and the character designs are memorable.
Only complaint I have is how linear the story can be.
I recommend this game, and suggest to purchase it if you feel the developers deserve their due.
