Soooo, should I wait for the new version to be released in ~10 days, or can I play the game now? There is supposedely going to be a new system in the next update, and I dont want to play the entire game again in case the saves from 0.8 dont work in 0.9.

You must have found some of the only good hentai dubs then, because I have yet to find a good english VA that is nearly as good as a japanese VA at doing eroge/hentai. I can't even understand it, but they convey emotions hundreds of times better that english VAs, since they also sound so disinterested and shallow.
If you mean it would be cheaper to get only a single english VA would be cheaper, then you might be right. But then you also get what you pay for, some girl that can't put any emotion into the line she is speaking, at least in my experience. It's definitely possible I haven't found a good english game with a good english VA in sex scenes as well.
No if they have to get a VA for both languages it's going to be more expensive, and don't forget Sachi is a Japanese developer first, so it's only natural he'd want a Japanese VA. And if you try to exclude getting a japanese VA you arebasically telling the japanese community to piss off. When instead you should be thankful they are releasing it in english at all.
Where are you pulling you numbers from to say the japanese fanbase is smaller than the english fans? Because if you check Rem's Substar he has 3900 followers while Sachi's Ci-en has about 17,000 seems to me that the japanese fanbase is larger unless I am missing something.
And again, he is a japanese developer first, not an english one.

U don't need to sound like a dick about it with Remtairy trying to get plp to support Sachinama through Ci-en ("the japanese" as u called them). It's thanks to Sachinama that Karryn's Prison exist in the first place. If ur not subscribed to Remtairy then keep ur shitty opinions to yourself. Ur currently getting the game for free on this website anyways so u have no say on what goes for Remtairy's project.
Do u know what "kawaii desu sugoi" even means? What's wrong with cute and amazing? lol. Idk what high pitch nonsense ur talking about but if u hate cute (kawaii) VAs then u don't need to fucking worry. Karryn's Prison isn't an anime, and I don't see Karryn screaming "cute cute cute" while she's getting fucked. So far I haven't encounter Karryn saying cute in any of her dialogue so u can save yourself from a crisis with her VA saying "kawaii desu" lmao.

I started playing Karryn's Prison since v7 and didn't need to start my save over since then, so I think u don't need to worry and can start playing now till the next update releases.

Then again, you can never tell when something is reworked, like the UI system, that it won't break old saves with older system data in it.
I would wait just to be on the safe side.

My bad. He mentioned there might be a new system and I just let that slipped.
After hearing Miki Honda's voice i think karryns voice should be a bit mature to suit her personality her voice is good but it would suit more over a school girl character or an easy going girl but oh well.
I hope the new system is exhibitionism and as a result we won't have to mod her clothes off anymore
not sure what you mean. if you use the cc mod, you can edit the save to unlock toys from the start and karryn will walk around with them. you can also mod the js to be able to use the toys from the start.
karryn says cute 13 times in the game, you got me curious and i had look lol! i don't care for miki hondas voice either, so i'll just mute it.

you don't have to do it, but you can edit the save to unlock the toys. it is in the switches part of the save. if you don't edit the save you have to unlock the toys with actions. i'm not sure if it has to do with slut level or exhibition level or how many time toys have been used on karryn.

Karryn is only 26, not really old enough for that "mature" voice. But here is a soundclip of Karryn's old nipple tweak that's been disabled for now that Miki also did.

I want to suggest a mod when working in a bar. When there are a lot of people, orders are not always remembered (I know they are recorded in logs -_-). What if you put an IMAGE over the head of the customer with a drink? There is a sleep icon, so what's stopping you from putting an image of drinks there? It will be easier to perceive (it seems to me) ...
Ah no not that kinda mature i mean like karryns personality from the script she sounds strict and not like a school girl more like a real professional and cocky sure she will give in the pleasure depending on the player but at the start she should sound like someone who can kick ass with a cocky dominating voice that's the kind of mature i was referring to lol.

Being a VA she is she'll probably try to sound more mature depending on the character she voices. I mean, she sounds pretty great when she attacks as Karryn so...

Well those sound clips probably aren't the extent of her vocal range I suspect. Though I can't say for certain beyond that one sound clip she already did for KP. So I'll wait to reserve my opinion once the final voice pack is out.
But yeah I agree she should definitely sound a bit more fierce than those other sound clips.
