RPGM - Completed - Karryn's Prison [v1.3.0.73 FULL + DLCs] [Remtairy]

One of my favorite porn games of all time, I regularly find myself replaying it, and trying to beat the game in different ways, but I think I'm too depraved as I keep making Karryn become a slut. I really enjoy it and most of Remitary's work.

Extremely enjoyable game. I have played this game since before it came out on Steam and I immediately bought it when it finally came out. I have over 100 hours on this game on steam alone. The game is very fleshed out and the situations Karryn gets herself in are very enjoyable to sit through. I particularly like the side jobs (especially the secretary side job) because they incorporate some kinks I am into (exhibitionism, among other). In short, I would recommend this game to anyone who wants a kinky adventure through a prison, trying to get it in control( but not really).

Perhaps the best porn game I know of. Perfect integration of sex and combat. Found myself actually getting invested in making a decent build instead of spamming one move. Really breaks out of the mold in several aspects.

This game is great, until... you want to go somewhere specific with it. Now what do I mean with this? You want to lewd up the stuck up bitch that is Karryn? HAH! Good luck cock staring for the next 5 hours. You want to make her a Beast at fighting? HAHAH! Nope! Watch this long H-scenes of Karryn getting stunlocked. Its like, this game you don't just sit down and play it. Hell no! You open up any kind of guide you can get your hands on and then design painfully slow the exact Karryn you want.
Does that make good gameplay? No, no it doesn't.
Everything is overpriced. You have to fight to keep up order but if Karryn is too much of a slut, that takes ages. If she is too much of a prude, you might as well play any regular RPG out there. Something in-between? Forget it.

Okay I got a game over, couldn't keep up order but I'm not gonna change my rating. What a horrible game decision for a H-game. So either play a slut and lose or do a purity run. Nothing in-between.
They put some cat there, to tell you the game has two "traps." You either skill your character wrong by using the basics of the game or you keep order too high. Which I suppose leads to bankruptcy for some players.
Nothing in the game hints at this. It even encourages you to slut up Karryn. But the sluttier she gets, the easier she's beaten. Then what's the point?
So they put that cat there as a band-aid solution, because the devs don't know how to balance this game and said there are two "traps" in the game instead. Well I don't call them traps, I call them glaring issues with the balancing of the game and I believe the devs know this too. They just don't want to bother fixing their broken system.
There is also no save system. So if you conquered stage 3 and you want to slut up Karryn from that point onward, you're essentially running towards a game over. So maybe you go ahead and make a manual save right? Nope, game doesn't offer that. You have one auto-save, for one game. That's it. Like why make the H so counterintuitive? It doesn't make any sense. You're meant to only skill one single way, despite the game offering you so much variety and you're not meant to slut up Karryn you're meant to get away from the H instead of trying to get more of it like you'd expect in any other H-RPG out there.
The art is great, its like that one saving grace why I even bothered to play until I got a game over. But the rest forget it.
Also the voice acting is kinda funny.

Perhaps the best I've played in terms of quality and content.

It is quite difficult at the beginning. I recommend choosing the secretary route and continue after the game over that you will surely have. This way it will be easier, but believe me, not too much.

It took me several attempts to even get through the first part in normal mode. But the difficulty gives an organic change to the slow degeneration of the character, I thought it was pretty cool because my own desire to get through the game without her getting raped is like her resilience in not becoming a total slut until she's already too deep into it.
You will get more than enough challenges in secretary mode to achieve this same slow degeneration, so I recommend it more.

Very first adult game that I've played which I think is actually worth playing <3
Gameplay is kind of similar to old Pokemon gameplay style. Main protagonist is fully VAed for the battle/sexual scenes (in both English and Japanese).

A game that I greatly underestimated, where the story takes place with you being a woman (with huge breasts) being the chief warden of the prison. At first I thought it was going to be just another boring game where you farm xp and advance in the story, but I was wrong, you can upgrade the prison, and as you buy more and more parts the scenery changes and you unlock new scenes, that also counts if you're turning into a slut (showing sexual posters instead of normal ones).

The story holds you until the end, you will probably make a new virgin save until the end just to see the outcome of the story.

Conclusion: One of the best of all hentai games.

I'm not giving this a one star because I realize my complaints might not be relevant to the general audience.

From reading the description and some of the rules, I thought it was going to be about a woman who slowly gets introduced to more and more sexuality and becomes bolder and more sexual. However, what I got was a woman getting sexual harassed, assaulted, and raped, but for some reason she likes it more each time.

The game has good art and is put together pretty well, but the content was just not at all for me.

In a lot of games like this, you lose to get content, which often doesn't make sense because the games aren't challenging and losing on purpose doesn't feel like a defeat. This game fixes that by making a genuinely challenging experience, while also making certain content locked off to a level of progression, so you have an incentive to progress.

The game has multiple mini-games, lending a surprising amount of replayability to the game. The story is good, but the pure path is lackluster.


You should probably pick Secretary difficulty, trust me. The Warden mode marked as "normal" difficulty is pretty tough. This game will kick your ass, and spank it. And you will come back for more.

Given the overwhelming number of positive reviews this game has received, I have nothing to add. Truly one of the best hentai games out there, with a mountain of content, lots of optional activities and mini-games to try, a gorgeous artstyle, and a freedom of action and progression like few others. The gameplay (between moments of action, menagement and good old eroticism) is intuitive but complex, with many encounters that can become real challenges, but above all able to constantly evolve throughout the adventure, depending on whether you decide to drop Karryn into the abyss of perversion and depravity or keep her relatively pure, to make her a sadistic dominatrix or an insatiable sub. All of these choices unlock active and passive skills, capable of strengthening, weakening or opening up new options for our buxom guardian. Which will you choose: to take Karryn to the mysterious head of the inmates to restore the prison to an ideal state, or turn the institution into a brothel for our (and the prisoners' or Karryn's) delight?
Every choice has consequences and things can get out of hand very quickly: if we let our heroine succumb too often, we'll soon end up with a worthless cock-hungry slut with nothing but sex on her mind, but with this graphic mouthwatering (and with all the horny assholes in this prison) it will often be hard to keep Kerryn from exploring her body and discovering new pleasures. The trick will be to approach the limit without ever falling, in a fascinating game of desires, impulses and demeanor, which will lead us to explore all possible paths in various saves and runs. But first, a warning: this game is unfair, and will make you lose over and over again. You don't have to chose to be perverted, the game will do it for you with unfair fights and a downward spiral of lust and weakness.

It will be hard to get the perfect ending, but it's not really the goal.

The corruption of the protagonist is progressive and the art is excellent. So much little details and expression, with voice, make it exceptionnal.

So a second warning is needed: this game is soo good that you may lose track of time, and play it for hours.

As a big fan of corruption I love this game. I normally hate RPG style games, but there is an acceptable amount of grinding and wandering around in this one, although some of the storylines/quests felt like they were going nowhere.

I really liked the graphics as well and the fact that you inevitably "loose" the game by being massively corrupted and pounded by anyone anytime.

It is well made, well drawn, and well put together. The voice acting and e scenes and are also up there with the best of them, if you are able to endure the slow combat to see them, but that does not mean it is a good game.
There are a some minor things and a few major ones that made me change my rating after the last run.

That all the males look, talk and act like they where dropped on the head right after birth for example.
There is no pee. It`s no biggie, i just missed it since it would fit with the toilet scenes already in it.
The lack of ability to walk around naked when you want with out having to mod the game yourself is another I don`t get, since the images and animations are already there.
The worst of the minor ones is that autosaves and cheats overrides hard saves when you load them, even after it is turned off, but even though they are really annoying I could have lived with them.

However ...

There is no real choice, as everything you do leads down the slut route.

If you play it for a quick fap on the e scenes, it takes forever before you see anything good, and when the dam finally burst, you get everything at once due to gained passives that are forced upon you with no way of reverting them.
If you combine that with scenes that can`t be skipped, the result after losing every battle for a number of hours was getting a slut so horny that she blacked out from a multi orgasm seconds after entering the bar when a guest grabbed her shirt and another squeezed her tits.
One that got 98 orgasms in a 10 minute strip session `cause she get so turned on by having her ass watched that she couldn`t stop squirting on the floor.
Wading trough that was a pretty big one, but getting 252 orgasms from a single blowjob and an anal encounter in a single defeat right after was so big that when she ran into yet another inmate, I closed the game and rewrote the review instead.
Being forced to watch 252 scenes of the same un skippable content popping up every other second causing major lag, fps drop, and immense frustration is not my idea of having a good time.
Neither is the fact that it`s all based on percentages, so even if you cheat, and have 999999 in all stats, you are still set up to loose.
No matter what you do, the game will force you into more and more depravity without any choice in it. There is not even a way of getting out of a sex attack other than to endure or embrace it, which of course also adds to the passives, and makes you the go down the same route.
Even the hard approach, as in beating the inmates by brute force, labels you a sadist, you get off on it, and you will once again become a cock crazed slut.

I do love my sluts in games, but this is just ridiculous, and it got old really fast.

Karryn's Prison [v1.1.0c Full + Gym DLC] Review

This game is so very weird. In a brilliant kind of way.

TLDR review:
Karryn's prison is an equal parts battlefuck RPG and base management game about a turboslut-in-denial in a prison filled with horny bastards.
The game's mechanics are extremely complex and may take some time getting used to, but once you're past the initial hurdle and understand the general concepts it suddenly becomes very rewarding to play.
The game allows for a wide variety of strategies and has an extremely high skill ceiling and replayability. In fact, it's meant to be played multiple times using trial-and-error.
You will fail, Karryn will slut it up and it will all be glorious and you'll want to do it again, but differently next time.
The voice actress for Karryn is really amazing and does an oscar-worthy performance.
On the negaitve side, I think the art could be better. Karryn's proportions are a bit too fantasy-sized for my tastes. There's some "floating cock"-scenes where the artist didn't bother to draw the rest of the body of the male, and there's a distinct lack of sex animations.
Another pretty severe drawback of this game are the "side jobs" which just plain aren't fun and a real chore to play. The UI and mechanics for these side games is just a frustrating mess. You can skip them, but then you'll miss out on some much-needed gameplay advantages and a few pretty nice H-scenes and mechanics.

This game deserves the long-format review too because it's just that good.

Story time.

About a year ago I played this game for like an hour or so but didn't like it very much and just gave up on it.
Then fast forward to a week ago, when I saw it with the [completed] tag. I was was very bored so I decided to give it another shot, when suddenly WHAM!
It all clicked in a big way and now I'm completely hooked. At the time of writing this I've got at least 30 hours played and I've got some 25 different saves for different builds, and I've even installed some mods!

How is this even possible?

Karryn's Prison is definitely one of those acquired taste games where at first you're like "The fuck is this garbage?" and then suddenly you've spent some 20 hours on it.

The key to understanding this game and getting full enjoyment from it is to actually try to beat it without having Karryn becoming a turbo slut. Fair warning: You can't, and you won't. Not on your first try at least.

This is what I didn't understand the first time I tried it. I "came for the fap", as they say, and that's definitely the wrong way to approach this game.
It's not that you can't fap to it, you most definitely can, it's just that you can't rush the H content and actively seek it out, thinking it's some kind of reward like in "normal" H-games. It's not. Its a trap! A very very clever trap. Karryn decides when it's time to go full semen demon, not you!

The H scenes are kinda like the "bad end" H-scenes in your standard lewd RPG, but in a slow, creeping way. Everything lewd Karryn does or has done to her will corrupt her in some way and make the game harder to beat. Before you know it she'll be too preoccupied slurping cocks and taking it up the ass to bother about saving the prison. Once she's been dragged into the bathroom and been gangbanged till her brain melts, you're fucked. Literally and figuratively. You can still play on and discover new content, and maybe stay for that long awaited fap as you watch her descend into cock madness, but every new step becomes harder and harder until Karryn's nothing but a quivering heap of flesh cum machine with nothing but cock on her mind.

It's funny, clever and hot.

There are viable "turboslut" builds, but trying that on your first playthrough without a deep understanding of the game's very complicated mechanics will pretty much instantly make the game unplayable for you. (You'll get stuck in a loop with the same handjob/blowjob scenes and no sex, followed by progress being softlocked, followed by a very frustrating game over.)

This is all intended, and it's fucking brilliant!

The longer you can keep Karryn from succumbing to her desires the juicier the content gets, too. So it's really a game about patience if you want the really good bits.

The sole gripe I have, and the reasons this isnt a 10 out of 10 for me, its not animated, I'm asking santa for a massive mod or remake of this game with actual animated content, if its 3d all the better.

It's great to see the game is fully up and running. This is a great h-game with sweet art, gameplay and one sexy thicc warden to watch get rammed by all manner of inmates from the lowly goblin, to the sad geeky daki hording nerds. As well as orcs, werwolves, corrupt guards and lizard men.

Half the fun is really unlocking new traits and titles for Karryn as she progresses through each level of the prison. As well as a small level of management to the prison and it's occupants.

Aside from keeping order in a wild prison full of horny inmates and guards alike. There are also side missions you can play too maintain that Control and earn a little extra gold. Like working as a bar waitress, visitors secretary and a stripper.

This is a must play and please support the original content.

I give this a 5/5 purely because, for H games, Karryn's Prison is one of the better rpgm examples. The writing is actually pretty funny if a bit trope-y, the combat is interesting and deep enough to get you interested (even if it could be way better of course), and the different styles of play are an interesting choice (slut or pure) and the art is pretty good.

The game knows what it is, if you're looking for mostly pure sex stuff with some engaging gameplay then this is for you, if you want a deep story and interesting characters then it's a pass.
