Honestly, Looking back I would say that I enjoyed my time with Katalist but at the same time the game has this huge caviat that makes it damn near impossible to recommend this game in good faith.
It is buggy as hell
If I played a drinking game for every time something broke which made progressing a quest whether side and now main, I'd be dead within milliseconds. on one hand starting the game from the beginning would be a smart move while on the other hand this game is long as-is and I do not have confidence that it does not break within a second playthrough. And some of the game's content does not make me want to really go the extra length do do that.
The story while interesting, the path to get there often is not. Rather frustrating more than anything. The Queen blossom fairy quest (which after reaching a loop that softlocked my game was when I decided to just quit altogether) was where I borderline wanted to quit the game due to how boring and annoying it was. Thank god for the gallery is what I would say if I did not care for the game and what to experience it without tightrope walking. Because I genuinely find it fascinating.
