I'm not saying that Teary theorically skipping to 0.1 would be a good idea or justify anything else.

It'd make more sense to say something in just about every imaginable scenario. Teary having a bizarrely bad communication strategy is something that we already need to assume, you can't read much more into it.

I mean to be clear full procrastination is a possibility too. Doubt that it's an exit scam, but in any case it's shitty enough for the patreons to the point where the distinction doesn't really matter.

At least his income is getting cut, right now is at 883$ so he's getting more pressure to respond.

not really his patreon sat at like 400-600 or less than that for like 4 outta the 5 years its been open
money doesnt seem to have ever been the motivator for him
it doesnt seem to show the first 2-3 years his patreon was open

Not to defend the silence,
But he said he will be silent before working on this update,
Dont know why people are ignoring that he already mentioned that

Yeah, it would be nice to have communication but it's fully possible he just doesn't wanna have the burden of having to deal with communicating with a fuckton of frustrated fans rn

Most people aren't actually "ignoring" that, it's just that it's a shit justification and reason for, and counting, 4 months of silence, especially when the update was supposed to be "closed to finished" at the beginning of this silence period.

Considering that what he had left to do was a week's work at most, it would be tolerable for him to be silent for 1-2, maybe even 3, weeks. We're 4 months deep now.


So at this point it's irrelevant he said he'd go "silent" when he should genuinely say something about being 4 months late to his already delayed release date.

Furthermore, wild sightings of him either on Discord or on Wiki do make it even more frustrating that he's not saying shit to his community.

"Fuckton of frustrated fans" That he himself created by not delivering the update he himself said was coming. No one presurred him before HE failed to deliver.
You have a lot of people to defend, try not to defend teary.
