I can positively tell you that they did not implement chapter 7 for supporters yet. And content behind closed doors or in internal builds is no content released/available to play/check. I could tell you everything on reports and make me look great like that. It's nice they release reports (it's something at least) but I would not take that as solid facts they're hustling on or on time etc. Development time is measured with releases to consumers after all. The last patched build was released december 2024. The last content update was in may 2024.
We don't know if they completey stopped the reworks.

Today, I'm more reserved about them after they closed the Itch forum in a fit, stopped releasing supporter builds adn overall became defensive.
I am pro hype but when it is reasonable though.
Ah, no actual update from the last reports ? well since i'm not giving them anything money wise, i want them to just be transparent when it comes to working on it, moreover updates would be undeniable proof they're going somewhere at least.
Lol and of course it wouldn't be ready until at least S3 2026 with how they're being shady about these last chapters

Yea, I used to support them, until they used mental health as an excuse TWICE to explain why they were so behind. I understand mental health being a priority, but then stop taking people's money if you can't deliver on the promises you made. Also, I think the NSFW VN and game community uses mental health as an excuse WAAAAY too often. Its totally fine if youre making a game on your own time, and people need to understand that. BUT, if you're charging good money from people, it doesn't fly with me.

That is very true, how they don't realise with how much money is being exchanged, it's a real market (no wonder why people say furry porn makes you rich) and most of them look like they're not taking it seriously. Are the people donating to such projects really so wealthy they're not caring about how the dev manages their projects ? Even if i had money to throw around, i'd only do it to encourage good developer practicies. It is always a case of the game tied to the devs, you can't support a game without supporting its devs; without turning to another projects ofc (like if Nintendo fans would support fan-made projects if they can't stand how Nintendo runs things, to still have their franchises on the board instead of giving them up in a boycott). And most claims of mental health/well-being related issues are hard to falsify, and fall under the "unfalsifiable claim + appeal to emotion" trap that makes you pray the game is still being made while you ponder if they aren't actually dodging the main problem with their managment (again, hard to prove/disprove since we can't expect them to splay out everything they do, and that's a gestion problem since donators are only here for the financial support and not managment, unless people ask for that when they give, which would sounds "pretentious" and yada yada high-trust society or something... it's your money so why don't you actually watch where it's going... [insane rant lol])

I agree with a lot of these points, but I will always say that in Kemo Coliseum's case, they have always had the policy that $3 gets you the Patreon version whenever it is released. And despite the insane delays, it looks very much like it will be released. You only have to give $3 once to get unlimited updates to the game.

So by definition if you've given them more than $3 then that's on you. And take that from me, an idiot who's given them waaaay more than that in total each month over the years. But I do it because 1) I'm bad with money and 2) I like getting the little dev updates each month.

I will give Punipen big ups of giving full Itch licenses away like that.

But I know that other devs hugely regretted that feature. So much so that the dev of Uncommon Breed abandoned the project to create Lust; a to its end unstable, shoddy clone of Darkest Dungeon with a monthly Patreon subscription DRM... And that has been abandoned as well a year ago.

last the update I heard was that the game will be released when its finished. when will it be then? I don't know and I had high hopes for this game and it has a lot of potential. we already got an opening for said game and sadly that was it really. so for those I have decieved. I deeply apologize for that...

Mate, everyone familiar with this game's development already took the deadline with a mountain of salt.

There will be a new patreon version in a few weeks ,but the full game (in my opinion) will be 2027.

Make that 2040, to be optimistic.
Oh yeah you're right sorry I forgot to factor in their intention to fully voice act the game, animate every frame of Volga's nipple in one fight in a side quest in Act 2 and then ensure the 300,000 (!!!) words are accurately translated into Lithuanian before they can release it
