Yeah, I wanna re-do how they work sometime in the overhaul. I already prototyped a different behavior in an experimental build and they are more fun to fight.

I haven't played the game for quite some time now and I was wondering whether or not you still have the ability to stagger yourself so the enemy can initiate an H scene is still in the game
Also why do I start in a room with lives and abilities instead of the regular beginning being from the spaceship landing

The game's mechanics have been revised, so that the enemies no longer get sexy stuff started. Instead, once you defeat an enemy who has a scene with Kincaid, you can approach their unconscious body and initiate sexy time.
this is a seriously primo game. gameplay, art, animations such great quality. favorite furry platformer

if you enjoy the game!Oh boy.... poor Null, getting infected with COVID has an chance to mess with your taste buds which in turn can make what you like taste bad and vise versa, it's never good having it anyway and I wish the both of them an speedy recovery.

Man, when I learned about the removal of the stagger mechanic I was devastated.
I think this game is one of the best, fresh and interesting H indie game of the last years and was going smoothly like very few does. but man...
That was one of the main reason I found it great. It is so rare to find a game where there is a sex mechanic in been knocked (without the necessity to game over) where the MC accepts happily the avances of the enemy.
If you play Japanese games are all forceful and brutal rape. If you play occidental games ... don't let me start.
I am really sad for this turn of event. Plus, it was a great counterweight on being hit. I mean, you went: "oh no! I have been hit! Oh well I now have something to enjoy though." and it was very interesting and intriguing even character wise (The acceptance and enjoyment of those situations was one of the characteristics of the protagonist Kincaid that I loved). In the same vein the Game over CG was also great. But now ...now being hit just annoys me.
In definitive, I have no problem in being also able to initiate H-scene actively on a defeated enemy, but removing the grappling devoid the MC a core part of her character and the game a core mechanic that made me love this game.

Yes, this is now a faceless hentai game of which there are already 1000.
oh,about that... why is that taken out?, i always like when kincaid get knocked out with some foreground in front of her like some bushes and etc.. where the enemy go where kincaid get knocked and doing that sex animation together while the foreground censoring them doing it together behind that bush of the stage.
something i like to doing that in another hentai game named ''chrono's gates'' where some of the enemies hiding behind on the foreground and when you are passing near of it,that enemy jump on you catching you outside or inside of the foreground depending of where they are but.... sometimes i get them in their hiding spot and having fun torturing them behind the bushes because i can stop the time in that game,i know the sex scene is censored but i can imagine so much infinites sexual poses while i hear the characters doing something inside of it,i find that sexy too.

if I understand what you are talking about: when for example there is a hidden slime and you step on it, it does not grab you anymore, but it only causes physical damage. Same for the rest of hidden enemies.
true,before i get knocked down in some certain places forcing the enemies go where i are but now they only are there just to damage you and not catching you to damage you while we struggle to escape from their damage to get surrender in their arms.
why this change?,the game is more alive if they catch you if you are touching them,if that's so i prefer some inanimated object hitting you than someone alive if they only do some damage,replacing the living enemies by some objects made by them like this.
that training dummy in the middle spin and hit to damage us so the kobold natives put traps like these only to damage the intruders if the natives and others enemies don't catch us if we touch them accidentaly,i miss the struggle system when they catch us.

Especially that one guy who went on a rant about "stupid EsJayDobleUs and feminists". Who would have thought that there are so many fans of standing still, getting hit and losing all the time just to get porn scene, as opposed to just fighting?
Anyway, the game is pretty great, soundtrack is amazing, platforming is tight. Is there any way out of Boss Arena to go back to Kobold Village or nah? Also the game desperately need the beginning/start, cause I was lost at the beginning (grab the free stuff or no? To which exit should I go? Etc etc). I think the best way to "introduce" the room for returning players would be just a question "Is it your first time with Kincaids?" If yes go through the story beats, if no - go for the room.

the boss arena is a good place to re-battle the bosses you like before,like... when you completed one world like this green planet of natura,later the wolf boss and others are friends of you and wait there to fight you again when you want,probably there are more boss arenas on the others worlds to enjoy battle them again and etc... if you want to see all of the animations of the game,a part the boss theme is very good too so yeah... fight them again is very funny and cool too with that music,is like seeing a video of a battle between two beings with linkin park music,what a meme.
It's not really a "nontroversy" if there's pages of people arguing about it. You're really missing the point if all you saw in the old grab system was "losing", and facepalming posts that are supportive of the change.
