Mmm… I digress. I see more people complain about LOSING to get the H-events than WINNING to get the H-events. It actually promotes progression and allows to you get in more H-events in a period of time by allowing you to continue afterwards as opposed to losing in purpose, respawning, and going to the next enemy to repeat. From both a gameplay and a “I want to get a wank fast” standpoint, it’s objectively better.Shame about the changes, "losing" for H is one of the hottest things about these kinds of games. rip in peace
From a gameplay perspective I agree, but for enjoying the porn it's not quite the same. It's like I said before, one of the big appeals in these games is simulating a partner for the player to interact with. Enemies grabbing you, while simple, is the easiest way to give the player something to react to and have agency in a sexual situation. As the game is, winning doesn't currently give that same feeling. The enemies just end up feeling like lifeless dildos. It's a shame because I feel like there's a way to make it work, but with how divided people are on the topic it feels like there's no room to discuss any form of compromise.

I can see where you’re coming from, actually, games like Shinobi Girl, that relatively popular sidescroller, did exactly what you said and did it really well. So I can actually agree with you, some games do it really well (Metroidvanias and sidescrollers particularly), but considering the aesthetic of the Kincaid and the lighter nature instead of being a full on ryona game, it’ll still work out well. Not to mention Null and Cookie push out content CONSTANTLY, and their breakdowns on Patreon prove they do their homework on game design and game flow. So at the end of the day, I can understand the change in tone, but when the final product comes together down the line, I think it’ll work really well together.
I think that the developers could make the H-scenes more rewarding by giving in-game rewards for performing them, something like "collect this number of 'samples' from that type of enemy" to unlock an outfit or an upgrade, or even a bonus cutscene.

for some reason people cant complain in todays culture, if they do they are just called bigots and what not, same is happening with hollywierd now, just look at recent amazon series (cough) "dont like it dont buy it but dont dare to complain", i asked bros on my server if they still have any interest in this game they said none and im afraid there will be quiet rejection, so be it

You're kinda opening up the discussion beyond the game just to seemingly complain about irrelevant stuff. There's always going to be people who dislike criticism of something they enjoy (me included) so it's better to just criticise with care instead of pinning it on some greater problem with today's society. We're discussing an in-development furry porn game, any talks about bigotry in tandem with it only looks silly.

but the change was done to not get n trouble with patreon company that dont approve of those things and so it forces its own rules with cancellation of agreement (as i understand the reason why the change was made if im wrong then correct me), i saw that pattern too many times with other companies, and yes we are discussing why the change was made in furry porn game, why the dev had to make that change, as i see in history and pattern of patreon with other games im am able to "pin it on some greater problem with today's society"
its pattern and practice that goes in only one way and i saw too many games i supported got cancelled to not call it bigger problem

Alright fair enough, I'd have to recheck to see if the developers said it was to avoid trouble with Patreon. As far as I understood it was a personal decision from them, but that could be a lot of hearsay from the previous arguments blending together in my memory. As it is, the developers are hard-locked into their decision, so my only hopes are for some compromise to come up in the future.

meh... i think is fine,the good thing for me is a platforming metroidvania game, shantae's games are not some hentai game but they are good ecchi moments and fanservice so it's ok if the devs want to remove every sexual animations in this game too, im going to play it and enjoy it without problems, is not monster world iv or trival hunter but i think this game is good too with or without sexual contents.
i think it's supposed is something for halloween,a creepypasta version of kincaid but the game begin to glitching and everything are turning monstruosly deformed while we need to be prepared by something creepy is coming to end our gameplay but if we escaped it,we can continue with the mystery,who can survive it,they can get an exclusive and a very sexy sex animation,probably more animations with it but yeah... something very cool.
