The devs are not going to listen to you, and they have made their decision well known and are standing by it. At this point, if they were to actually add a toggle, who says they still have the old code to make it work? They might have thrown out the code since they had no more plans of using the stun and struggle mechanic.

There's also their plans to have it on Steam, if I remember right. Steam does allow porn games, but similar to Patreon it has rules on what content can be there. Then there is the fact that having it available on Steam would mean an even wider audience. Not to mention that most of the porn is optional now, allowing the game to be played as a game instead of an animations viewer with a metroidvania game underneath.

Also, they ran a poll asking their supporters about the change in the mechanic, and the bigger majority said they like the new way of starting sex, so the devs are going to go with that. Maybe it's best not to demand change based on what's popular if you care about creativity and variety. But I need to go back to this for a moment:

I would rather play a (mostly) innocent Protagonist that gets (involuntarily) forced into sex instead of a hypocrite pretending to be the hero while raping people left and right . . .

I think I've shown that this isn't the case, but you still insist that you want her to be raped instead of it being consensual. So what's bothering you? Is it that she's not a poor, "innocent" good girl getting taken against her will, but someone who's at peace with her high libido, casually offering sex for the fun for it without any societal baggage? I'm not judging if that's it, but to me what's in the game right now is much more of a turn-on than a protagonist getting violated, corrupted, whatever.

Whether a game is better or not is subjective, so while it might not be better in your eyes it will be better in someone else's. Consensual sex in porn games is also increasingly popular as not as many people are into rape and non-consent. Maybe all the past games from the era of the run-or-rape genre of porn games might skew the numbers if looking at an overall statistic, but looking at the recent trend there are way more games that have consent, even if not made explicitly clear in the description.

That´s not entirely true (the last part) there are still way more (New) Hentai Games with Rape than consensual ones!
I know because I always inform and follow many different Hentai Game developers and DLSite!

i see that the discussion about the "enemies initating sex" change was brought up again... how are you guys still so bothered by the change? i thought that by now people would've moved on and followed other games or just bit the bullet and accepted that the game changed.


hate how people keep saying that the game initially had rape when there wasnt rape even since the very first release, it had always been consensual all the time, yes, she used to be more submissive and enemies felt way more dominant but its not like the devs had changed every animation into a femdom animation, they just made it so kincaid uses some generic porn lines letting the players (and patreon) know its consentual, then her being the sub again, only animation tha isnt her being the sub is the goat one.

If we are to discuss about something is the huge lack of diversity in the game, unsure if the devs have something with kobolds, but the ammount of kobold content in the game is HUGE, hell, theyre the only species that a single enemy have more than just 1 animation (speaking of the threesome) i know the first level has not been halfway done but can we get at least new enemies in the first level? more than half of the content is just kobolds, and im affraid that once this level is done and the devs move into the next level, theyre going to take way less time to develop it fully, meaning less non-kobold content. im not saying that kobolds are boring or bad, but i just think the devs should instead work on new enemies, they've done it before, working on the enemies for the next level (goat, bear) so why not make the enemies for next level and actually progress on the game instead of making the same porn? or at least add more content to already existing enemies.

You know, I had been holding out hope that at some point, maybe even after the game is finished, the grappling mechanic would be added back as a toggle or something...

But I'm sure that after the devs read comments like these, there's zero chance of that ever happening.

if it true, then game lose huge potential, once again japan hentai games is superior... this game could be good as Krystal Gv or NoR

It's true we're happy about bug reports! ^^

But we're also reading ideas and new suggestions about game features, content etc if they come up, even if we have to decide against a lot of ideas because of time constraints, priority, or if it doesn't fit the game design.

I think the kobold-focused content is primarily because of the kobold village, there's a lot of npcs and so a lot of potential for quests that lead to scenes. It's likely just for lore reasons that the first planet is dominated by kobolds. If I remember right each planet/level is supposed to have a similar village area for the same purposes, maybe those will be more diverse. At the very least, there shouldn't be any more kobolds past the first level.

We have had a strong focus on kobolds so far and I can understand if people start to 'have enough' of them xD

As J55555 has suggested, the reason for that is that we are working on the first planet first, trying to tie up as much of it's animated/illustrated content so that we can do a complete storyline and sidequests, with nsfw rewards. Since kobolds are dominating the jungle planet, with the village and all, and even enemies being kobolds a lot of the time, that meant a lot of that content.

We're trying to mix things up by throwing in the tiger and slime, as well as enemies from the second planet, namely the goat, wolf and bear, but of course the balance is still slanted. Then again, if we had worked on random NPCs without story tie-in, and even more future enemies, it would slow down the overall progress of completing a section of the game.

I hope with having another artist on board now, we'll be able to work on more projects at the same time.

Anyway, that's just a peek into our thought process ^^

Honestly I kinda wish the enemies had a second animation. I know it would take longer but you could pallet swap some of them to fit the new areas reducing your creation time.
Werewolf for instance could be used with a snowy variant with ice attacks and another sex position.
Bear could fit into forest/jungle area by making it brown and giving it a vine based attack.
Many platformers do this and it wouldn't be too hard to pallet swap and add a few new attacks and another sex animation.
I know everyone wants new characters and enemies but seeing how much work they are you could reduce your time by doing simple things like that and giving the more horny patrons you have more options for sexy time with pre existing characters.
Just a suggestion.

I understand the sentiment ^w^ I have so many ideas still on paper that were not made into animations so far.

The first part would be easy on a technical level - I could pallet swap enemies to show them in more areas. On a lore level it wouldn't make sense for most species to be present on all the planets, but that will be explained when there's more lore in the game. Right now we know it's not really noticable why that would be the case ^^

The biggest constrain here is the time I have to put into a sex animation unfortunately =/ It takes the longest time of all the things I do proportionally. Even if I swap colors to create a new enemy quickly, creating a second lewd animation for an existing enemy means a completely new enemy or NPC doesn't get made.

It's something we might get back to once the game is all done, as like additional content, but I can't make any promises ^^

if this is the case then honestly you should not do the same in the next village, cant really think as to why the villagers cannot live with other creatures in the jungle, why not add a gecko character in the village? or have a kobold with a slime pet, hell even a tiger could've worked, having a soft huge tiger who doesnt want to be violent like the others, that way you could've still added more diverse content than just kobold animation #20, from what we've seen the villagers are pretty inclusive as kincaid was welcomed in with absolutely no trouble (aside of being suspicious thanks to the "spy") and no kobold have said a thing about the other creatures in the jungle aside from the kobolds of the other village. So i really think next village should be formed by multiple species rather than just 1 to avoid fatiguing a species like how it happened here.

it was blurry but i noticed the pic for the bosses orb attack being labeled taint projectile, what kinda taint are we talking? noticed mentioning high kobold focus, any chance the player could end up turned into one somehow? mentioned as a humorus comment along the lines of kobolds stealing the game. sorry if makes no sense im ill atm.
