Hey y'all

I really wanted to make own game one day and due to my lack of knowledge in coding or making a game in general, I deciced the easier route of making a Ren'Py game. From there I learned in the ins and outs of Daz3D and launched myself to create my first game.

After countless hours of development, I would quickly lose interest and just restarting the project being in an endless loop of restarting.

Around that time, I started playing phone texting games and I really loved how they work despite certain limitations.

It also made me realise how much I hate NTR but understood why phone texting games were mostly all NTR.

Then I realised that the reason I was always losing interest is because I was limiting myself to what Ren'Py could do. So instead I started looking for a new engine. After many hours or research and testing, I chose Godot to make ZERO NTR phone texting game.

Kindling (Name not be final)
  • Branching, Affections, Good/Bad Story
  • Game switches from both phone gameplay and visual novel gameplay
  • Visual novel gameplay rendered with Daz3D for both images and animations
  • No AICG
  • Multiple Functional Phone Apps
Here is a working demo video, very early stage like missing a time passed transition. The demo is not representative of the storyline, just a test render to test with the GUI

Can't wait to release for free here!

The game will branch in different ways to the trigger element of the story.

How you interact with the main LI will open different solutions to solve the problem.

Will you stay faithful to her?
Will you cheat on her?
Or will you openly have a harem?

There will be hidden secondary LIs and multiple endings.

Technically the easiest ending will be the pure love ending in which you stay faithful to her.

One of my biggest challenge with developping this game was to understand how in-game time would work.

Since multiple conversations can happens at the same time, there would be time paradoxes everywhere. So I looked around into how other game manages time and decided on using main story context to determine time.
