Long time visitor of the site and wanted to get feedback for a VN I've been working for a few months. I've built out the infrastructure and it should be launchable like any other renpy game, it's built using Electron. Currently it features subtle mind control elements, 3 current power paths at the moment (lie detection, dream watching and menacing presence). A little synopsis about the game are as below:
You're a 21 year old college student that's living in the house you inherited after your parents died in a fire years ago. You know of the accident but you can't quite remember it, as if the memory is blocked. Through hard work, you've built a stable life in Blackwater Falls by not only maintaining the property but also succeeding academically (at the cost of social grace). What is oblivious to you is that you live among witches, ability users and families dabbling in the occult who have spent centuries ensuring the supernatural community maintains an order as well as secrecy.
Everything starts to change when you experience a terrifying encounter, followed by disturbing episodes where reality seems to fracture around you. Your awakening is detected by the supernatural hierarchy that recognize that your untrained abilities pose not only an existential threat but an opportunity as well. Being far too valuable to simply eliminate but too dangerous to remain free, everyone must tread carefully.
Now everyone wants a piece of you. The caring neighbor who's watched you grow up. The mysterious woman who visits your dreams. The bartender who sees through lies. The conflicted nun struggling with forbidden desires. Each offers guidance, protection, or companionship—but every relationship comes with a price and exposure. Your powers are growing, but so is your corruption. Each supernatural ability you develop locks out others forever, while your personal vices make you dangerously susceptible to manipulation.
Unfortunately the position is a passion project for now but once it's on patreon (enough content) I would opt for a 50/50 split for your services. In terms of content I have 4 characters and paths fully fleshed out as well as 8 events written, the goal is to get to 25 events before publishing on patreon, so audience has quite a bit of content to play through
