EDIT: 3/31/2023 - Wow, this game went downhill fast. Switching from 4 stars to 1 stars. Their new art is a top down perspective that looks terrible, absolutely terrible. The story is all over the place. There's this quest where you have to save the blonde merchant lady, but it's so complicated and annoying, I never want to replay it ever again. I waited, and waited, I was patient, but the dev just dropped the ball big time. *sigh*

Edit: Some fights in v0.7.0 were too difficult. I had to enable console and use the following cheat: enemy.hp = 0.

The game needs an in game quest log due to it's complexity. Having to alt tab out to a walkthrough constantly is very annoying.

Some of Sabia's submissive content ends in very anti-climactic, anti-porn ways.

Recommendations:
1. She should be allowed to let the bar gropers gangbang her in the tent, instead of them just being killed. Writing wise, she could optionally make a deal with them; she lets them gangbang her in exchange for them switching their loyalty to Tekrok or other Orc Captains. Her not being able to get gangbanged by the bar gropers was one of the biggest travesties in adult virtual novel history. I hope the writers fix this.

2. A submissive Sabia should continue getting groped by Orcs at the bar with or without her permission; of which she secretly enjoys it. If the orcs fear groping her, despite her being submissive, then we lose out on porn content. I understand what the writers are aiming for; they want to show Sabia is earning respect and power, but if you're playing a submissive Sabia, it makes sense for Orc's to continue groping her with or without her permission; with her secretly enjoying it.

3. When a submissive Sabia enthusiastically chooses to get gangbanged by Tekrok's men during the feast, she should act like she enjoys it, not with cheerful smiles, but submissive looks of shameful pleasure. Instead she looks constantly pissed off as if she's dominant. That's annoying.

4. Sabia should be able to continue working in the tents after the trial. They could make it so she only has sex with the Orcs she's sided with, so if she's sided with Tekrok, she'll have sex with his crew in the tents. Or she sleeps with her own Orc loyal to her to motivate them to fight better.

5. A completely submissive Sabia with 0 points in domination should never make the first move with Lutrvig in the training area.

6. The tents was a very fun part of the game, and to not be able to have Sabia work there anymore sucks.

What a game. Great writing, awesome world building, meaningful choices, great politics, compelling characters, great art.

I can feel the sympathy for the Orcs, and I think that Sabia's future is being foretold by the side stories about Elves, Minotaurs and her relationship with the Orcs. A multi-kingdom world.

Can't wait for the next update.

God tier, lots of potential here. Builds on player choice with some very aesthetically pleasing artwork. If you're okay with a female protag and like a fantasy setting with lots of 'interact-able' orcs woven into an already fairly expansive story, then you should give this one a go for sure.

From the maker of Noxxian Nights (if you haven't played that you really should) so that should give you an idea of what to expect. The art is amazing as expected and there is leeway on how to approach characters choices. The writing is good and characters are interesting. Neve is awesome and needs more love.

This is a really fun game. The story is interesting as well as the mechanics. I enjoyed the gameplay quite a bit.
I hope they add more and also add more where she wants to have sex with the orcs. Recommend you check it out.

When there comes a point in your life when you simply must watch a female protagonist get fucked by orcs...

Surely, you have found your Nirvana, your sexual heaven in this game... And I can assure you, the orc-fucking is *hot!*

And for those with an entirely different, though similar wish for immersing themselves in a world that has some interesting lore involved, this should also hopefully be...

Immersive-heaven.

And, for those who simply wish to enjoy reading a story about a strong protagonist kicking asses and 'not' get her raped by the big-green-guys, you can do that too... though honestly I heartly recommend tapping Lutvrog at least once... because y'know, orc-sex.

But, you must look past some sources of woes and lamentations, upon grinding for that orcish coinage with which to bestow to your feastin's and your arena'ins, because I assure you, if you don't take enough care in this game, you can literally kill an orc through inaction!

Finally, I must end with this point.

You all must know that Rokgrid, that guy in that plate-armour. He is literally my Husbando, and I will fight you to death for him!

EDIT: It has been quite a few years since this review. And for most of those years, my opinion of said game has changed completely and Utterly.

This is a reaally fun game. The story is interesting as well as the mechanics. Its got one of the best art styles ive ever seen, MC and everyo other characters art is amazing. However is important to mention that the focus in this game is gameplay, so if you´re looking for a quick fap, you aint gonna get one without doing some work. Recommend you check it out.

A real game, even if the mechanism remains basic, which offers several choices and evolution options. The graphics are pretty and the story is followed by many possibilities of evolution. Review done on version 4.2

I fell in love with this title. The MC can be molded in so many ways you have as much replayability as a Dragon Age or fallout title. Good mix of politics, intrigue, tough world changing choices and hot sex.

KoD is the most recent work from Hreinn Games (same dev of Noxian Nights), so if you like their last work I already recommend it, if you didn't, I recommend it too; because despite some similarities (art, writing, female protagonist, affection points and the glorious h-content); the content, gameplay, UI and narrative are very different.

The game plays as visual novel, so you read the narration of world, characters and dialogues presented with the protagonist and some choices you make for her. For a game on its early stages, you already have a indicative of branching story and some SIM mechanics, that influence your relationship with characters, changing conversations and scenes. It's still early to talk how this will affect game, but the signs are pretty good for now, with many choices to handle situations and how they change the content you get.

Different from NN, you won't find lust gauge and corruption mechanics here. Instead, the sex is avoidable and it's mostly presented as consensual sex or sex under necessity (except for some bad ends, here you can see the more "hardcore" scenes, hehe). Still hot as ever, you can have the MC as prim and proper lady, slutify your way to the ranks, instigue fear and dominace, etc. I am still waiting to see how this will be handled in the future, but for now is good enough. Each scene has tons of CG variations and it pairs nicely with the writing, it doesn't deral longly and still manages to give a sweat with the very hot protagonist and other babes.

So.. want story? has here.. want porn? has here.. want choices? has here. It hits all the right buttons. KoD is probably the title I most anticipate, I highly recommend a try.

Kingdom of Deception is in my opinion one of the best western h-games in development but it's not without its flaws. I'll give you my thoughts to help you decide if you want to play it and support the dev team.

PROS:
+ Developers can be trusted. They already delivered a good full game with consistent updates, Noxian Nights.
+ High quality art.
+ High quality writing.
+ The above 2 points combined make for the absolute best hentai scenes you can hope to get from a h-game.
+ Meaningul choices. You can feel how your choices impact the game unlike most other games with fake choices.
+ Adding to the above we're still at the earliest releases but we already have multiple ways of playing the game.
+ Solid base lore with great potential.
+ Great characters with their own personality. Neve is bae. Maply is a cutie. Rokgrid is up to no good.
+ Consistent update schedule. The updates are a bit slow but they have a lot of content and they're released roughly every 10 weeks.

CONS:
- UI. Almost all the navigation is via text menus instead of screens and icons. The new shop UI is a huge leap in the right direction but the game needs more than just that. (Fixed in 0.5 version)
- Lack of sound effects and the very few ones present are mostly bad.
- Very limited choice of background music.
- I'm sure the dev team are hard workers but the above 3 points combined make the game feel like it lacks polish.
- Too much focus on orcs and sex with orcs at the moment.
- Lack of a gallery for easily accessing the scenes. (Fixed in the 0.4 version!)

Normally I'd give the game a 4/5 but I'll give it a 5/5 based on the fact that all the CONS can be fixed and they are being fixed it looks like. And the PROS are actually very hard to achieve.

Starting from 0.5 the game fully deserves it's 5/5 rating.

One of the best attempts to make a real porn RPG. Emphasis on the roleplaying, not the grind. You can choose to play many different ways - be a submissive slut, be a dominant bitch and enslave other people, be honorable and fuck the characters you choose. Many choices and paths.

Hreinn is trying to do something bigger with this game and it should be respected. Some updates are slow, but they are always improving the quality and adding content.

Kingdom of Deception is possibly the most interesting/intriguing game I've played to date. The artwork in this title is very well done and is unique to say the least, the story/gameplay seems quite thought out and always has me wondering what is going to happen next, the developers have managed to create a protagonist that makes you have feelings towards and makes you think more before you make a decision instead of rushing through things. In general the entire concept of this game is interesting and different to other titles I've played, the only really downside to this game in my opinion is that it is not completed yet as it is that good.

While admittedly it is still early days Kingdom of Deception is a visual novel-esque game brought to us by the people behind Noxian Nights (another fantastic game you should try, and I mean it plays like a proper game) and already shows signs of being something special as well.
KoD takes place in a fantasy setting where humanity has driven back the other species of the realm and I can already say that I am enjoying the world that has been established here with a backstory that is interesting and sets up a story with room to grow. KoD primarily takes place in an Orc village whereby you perform tasks within the amount of day allocated to you and try to prove yourself to the tribe. It's similar to gameplay used in a few other games out there but this has provided a unique environment that hasn't really been explored in many games and as a result has characters that I want to know more about in future updates.
The artstyle is some of the best out there and the writing supports it well. I will say there isn't that much in terms of NSFW content right now but that can be expected considering how early on in development it is. I have no doubt it will get there in the future since these developers can be trusted to design a good game of this variety.
In conclusion, this is one of the big games to keep an eye on in the NSFW scene with a world that is already proving to be interesting. It's got a lot of promise, a good concept, is well made, and you can trust Hreinn Games to stick to it through and provide for a good experience with their projects.

It is an early alpha, and I know what you're thinking, but hey listen! It's the second project of "Hreinn Games", first beeing Noxian Nigths. If you haven't played NN I don't know why you still reading this, go get it, its free! If you played NN then you know what you should expext, and even if you didn't like it, they improved a lot since their debute. My favourite thing about this game is that choises matters. Even tiny decision weights a great impact on the outcome - it is not something common in adult games, but sure is pleasont by all means.

There's not much I can say that Qwerty hasn't already. The story's great, Sierra's writing is excellent, Nomo's art is godlike, the characters are all very unique and interesting, the gameplay is simple and not tedious. And of course, the h-content is just perfect. Highly recommend it for anyone who's a fan of hot warrior women getting raped and corrupted into being willing cumdumps. But even if you're not I still recommend it. Most of that can be avoided and there are some ''vanilla'' consensual scenes if you're more into that.
All in all, an amazing game. And it's only the first version. Not that I doubted the guys who made NN.

Still on its first release and already excellent, Kingdom of Deception shows great promise. With great art, great writing, great concept, plus a good amount of content variety planned, this game has it all.

If future releases keep this level of quality, it'll probably end up overshadowing even Noxian Nights (the authors' also excellent previous game).

Quite simply, Kingdom of Deception is a must try for all fans of female heroines getting it on with orcs and other monsters.
