if u place your chibi in that spot I show here. and u continuously hold the "jump" key.
how high can u jump?
I try to see if there some issue with that, so u are jumping high enough to be able to grap the rope.
in the same picture I also show how the chibi look when its holding the rope and at "height" it connected to it.

Tough to catch the apex of the jump, but I think I got it.


This may or may not be related. Is something supposed to happen when the chibi collides with the thorn bush? Mine just makes a face and moves off the bush. No change in HP or fail message ect.

maybe theres a issue to use 2 keys simultaneously?
not in jumpquest but in normal map mode, can u use 2 arrows key together to move diagonally?
or if u use the "attack" keys (instead of mouse) while u also move around, it is possible to do that?

Nope, I can do both. Thanks again baka. Check the edit to my previous post, it might indicate something?

I will look into it tomorrow if I can figure out something.
another thing that u can try is to move right > and jump so u press jump+right arrow, while u jump press also up arrow when u get close to the rope.

Sounds good, Thanks. I had tried right-jump-up previously to no avail unfortunately.

We're looking at the Jump Quest but what I can do in the mean time is if you post your save, I can skip that part so you can continue with the game while we investigate.

There's a segment later where you have to redo it but hopefully we find out why. Post your save and I'll at least help to get you back into the Story

Done. Just click the red portal again and it'll autoplay the completion.

When the game asks you again to redo the Jump Quest, see if it works but if not, just upload your save again

30hz. I just switched to 60hz and loaded a previous save AND IT WORKED!! Good call baka, Thanks!

nice. I can work with that. maybe I can adjust the code.
maybe 30hz will create some issue with the "grab" function.
since it happens 50% of the time it could be its not enough time to grab the rope.
but nice that it works! the game is created in 60hz.

I might just be dumb, but how do you use the Book of Quests to access the repeat quests? I haven't used it yet, so I don't think it's the 24hr timer.

There's two in the game at the moment with the later one unlocking much later. But I if I remember correctly, the 24 hr timer triggers right after that 1st clear.
