Decided to play the game on another setup, and I get an error


Setup: Windows 7 Max, x86, Service Pack 1 (hence I'm trying to launch v5.4.74 x86)
Any solutions, or ideas of what causes it?

"DiscardVirtualMemory" is a kernel function that was added in Windows 8 onwards, so the only solution here is to either update your Windows or find some way to update your kernel.

Or he could just install VX Kex and not bother with the abomination that the newer versions of windows have become (he could also just switch to Linux and not bother with Microsoft's garbage alltogether).

While i agree that should def move over to linux, i dont think thats going to fix the issue out right. Cause then theres a new issue. Make it run on linux :T ya know.. on top of the whole 'make linux run' cause its certainly still not entirely a whole plug and play thing yet. Is getting there tho (thank you gabe)
