Don't waste your money in this game even if it says it's completed it's isn't by any means, a lot of the girls are left on the side with barely any content , the story is average at best and inconsistent and rushed at worst , the gameplay is grindy and tedious , the combat is very basic and getting new powers just worsens you ability to fight you don't have a way to edit what cards you want to use and what cards you don't want to use , the art is varied from bad to above average in the scenes ,I bought this game and it was a waste of time and money

Main plot is boring but competent, but overall the story is horribly unfocused where 90% of the game is a bunch of horrendously boring side-quests.
The gameplay is compromised of three parts:
    1. Generic sandbox where you jump between locations seeking the next trigger
    2. QTEs and mini-games that come out of the left field and are really annoying.
    3. A really boring and slow card-based combat scene.
The difficulty of the combat is terribly overtuned and if you don't cheat yourself money to get the slightly better gear, you'd die from old age before you get anywhere grinding mats to sell. New cards are random rewards from certain quests and only a couple are actually useful, to upgrade the skills you will find some random ??? shrine that you spend some unknown points to upgrade them. Why? No idea, never mentioned or explained.
Art is above average, but the game art and h-scenes art differ wildly, there are at least 3 artist doing the sex scenes and only one of them is actually good.
And don't expect a satisfying resolution, the game ends on a terrible cliffhanger.
Overall, I wish I didn't play this. Guess all the 5 star are from people with no standards

It was ok. Any game that does their own custom art is automatically a plus, along with some good animations to make it even better, it's just a shame they were limited to only the sex scenes, as it suffers from the same as almost all other VN's, there's only so many character sprites often with only minor changes to them.

The main plot kinda takes a back seat to you going around and helping everyone else with your problems, kinda reminiscent of the Witcher (in also the MC appearance), but as a good guy who genuinely wants to help. The game kinda ends aburbtly and alludes to a sequel of some sort but it doesn't feel earnt. They could have kept going and adding more to it if they wanted to as it was primed for it.

Gotta love a good story and hand drawn art.
Also a sucker for card battles, and this one is done fairly well.
The mini games can vary in terms of difficulty from braindead easy to frustrating, so that may be a turn off for some folks here.
Looking forward to the next game!

Man disappointing is a word to good for this.

The story is a nice idea, the art is beautiful and then there is the rest.
This is fetch quest the game, you run your heels off for a H scene every x quests. And yeah some of the H scenes are nice and some are just meh.
You like a character? How about they have 1-2 H scenes in the whole game...

Much of your time in the game you spend with:
    Fighting card battle
Questing, run from a to b, get a for b and so on
    Fishing click, click, click
And when you finally get to interact with a character your chances are:
    boring
    long winded
    useless
    or interesting

Some of the screens are even just not colored and i don't mean the night time or "dog" stuff. I mean screens that are just not colored in. Sry what?

Some of the art is also not coherent, meaning sprite, screen and animation for the same character can look wildly different.

    You like mini games?
    You like QTE?
    You like puzzles?
    You like button mashing?

If you answered any of the above four with no, you are s*** out of luck son.

And the reason why i give this a one, not a two or three is:
You see the spidergirl in the artwork? The art that exists since the first time I touched the game. Yeah I would have loved to see how this unfolds, sadly she gets the last H scenes of the game, at that point I couldn't even be bothered to read it.

I played/read 70% of the game then "skip unseen" and that was that, really sad.

Let me preface by saying I don't know anything about the development history, and although I know it can be very relevant to reviews, I am sticking with just the game.

This is a well done VN with a large variation of minigames that provides a decent mix of gameplay. It took me almost 8 hours to complete the game on Steam.

Story: Starts off strong that creates a lot of world building and intrigue. I have to admit, on about hour 5 I started mostly skipping a lot of the dialogue as I usually get bored of VNs, but it seems like a lot of the plot points just, kind of, disappears or comes out of nowhere. It's good for the most part and the likeable characters help that (more on that below), but it seems like the writing was completed in different points of the dev cycle, making it feel all over the place. Did the writer of Lost switch to porn games? Like the whole narrative around your sister resolves, but it seems a bit shoehorned with everything else going on. There's a couple other confusing things, such as a choice around the elf story line that can give a very unexpectedly shiity result that can lock you out of that sweet sweet Eussy. All I'm saying is save before seemingly small decisions.

Characters: This is where the game shines. All of the characters, even the non-boneable ones, are interesting and full of life. It's very rare that a Hgame has a tolerable protagonist, and this game managed to pull it off. The banter between the main character and the witch was particularly well done.

Porn: The real reason most of us are here. It's not consistent, but great. The Hscenes with the elf are fantastic, among the best ive seen in a game, where others are essentially just small CG snippets. I was pretty salty the vampire had no scenes, and I'd sell my left foot if the artist can add more for the Witch, Arms Trader (best bae), and Archne (Archme? I forget).

Bugs and issues: There are parts of the game that feel a bit unpolished and there were times I thought I might of bugged out, leaving my progress incompletable. It wasn't, but the game's coding seems a bit fragile sometimes so it left me unsure. The combat is pretty decent, but there was many many cards left unfound and I'm not sure how fleshed out things are. In either case, I played the game on tactical or whatever and I was an unstoppable juggernaut by probably half way through, one shotting bosses. The flow is kind of weird, too, and it seems like the first act is it's own game as most of the mechanics dont really get introduced to closer to the end of the game. There also appears to be some quests that are talked about (mermaids) but not implemented. I also have some missing CGs in the gallery, even though I've seen them, and some that I don't have even though I completed the game and their description says they are associated with the main quest.

Anyway, through and through, it's good. I hope the dev will continue to polish it up (and add more witchy and arms dealer content.. Wussy and arms Dussy?) but I'd say it's worth playing. If you're like me that uses F95 to decide if you should buy a game, I'd say this one is a buyer, and it's only like 14$ CAD. For context, there's other recent release of games that are 20$ and more that are broken messes compared to this one, so I would say it's worth taking the plunge.

Knightly Passions is a game I've been following for some time now. The author develops his creation without ceasing. I can recommend this example of graphic art to everyone. The visual style is pleasant. The gameplay is concise. The humor is there, as is something hotter.

Gameplay is good for most, admittingly I would prefer fewer fully-fleshed minigames rather than many that vary between good and tedious, but otherwise the game story, art and characters are some of the absolute best.

I played this game a long time ago, when it was more "direct" and with less buildup. Recently I decided to revisit it and was very much impressed by the amount of improvement.

I think the story has become VERY solid and I really got invested into it. The characters are likeable and it pulls off its comicable style quite well.

I'm also surprised by the minigames they were able to add to the game considering it's in RenPy. The game is part of my favorites now, and I definitely recommend it. Looking forward to more updates too!

Only think lacking for me is pregnancy content but can't have everything I suppose ;)

    Version Played : v0.65

It's more of a 3.5* game, but I didn't want to be too harsh, as I can see the effort put it. The reason for my rating is twofold - it fails as a game and it fails as a lewd game.

First off, as a game : It's just boring. Writing feels pretentious (thankfully the default illegible font can be changed), but the jokes fall flat most of the time. Mechanically it is unsatisfying (slow to traverse through, combat is alright but skills feel lackluster and impactless, or marginal at best). The plot is all over the place and it didn't really keep me interested.

    Music is alright.

As a lewd game it fails simply because the lewd scenes I've seen so far (~8) have been filled with verbose dullness of descriptions, and the scenes themselves are not very interesting or sexy, and are few and far between so far.

When it comes to the visuals, the drawn artwork is fantastic and if I was only grading it this game would be a full 5*.

The 2DCG and it's animations are just alright though, and clear lack of detail is apparent.

Now I'm not saying others didn't or won't enjoy this game, but to me it's a shallow and yet bloated, convoluted unsatisfactory experience with little to show for itself other than it's fantastic artwork.

The reason it does get the stars it does is the artwork, as well as the fact it does work competently and does seem to be very loved by it's developers.

Solid animations, solid art, could use interactive highlighting and better quest description but overall one of the best ones on site. Crafting could use a little work, especially with item hovering descriptions/locations. Didn't play the DLC yet (but will) yet looking forward to it. Very solid game gj.

Really good game with great visuals and surprisingly well written story and likable characters.
One of the few VN like games where I actually enjoyed reading the story and did so until the end.
The overlay and quest system are nice and clean, combat is okay and it's overall pretty fun to play. It can be a tiny bit grindy though, but if you get the cheat code from a kind soul here that's not really an issue either.
The scenes are very well animated and if it weren't for the incompatibility of savegames between builds I'd give the game the full rating.

My personal tip here is wait for final release and enjoy the entire thing at once so you don't forget half the story inbetween the individual updates, because it's actually worth reading.
If you don't mind that and are just here to fap, the aforementioned cheatcode includes a full gallery unlock option.

    EDIT:
Sadly the game was "finished" in a hurry and even though I wrote this review half a year ago and the game was upgraded from 0.9x whatever to 1.03 in the meantime, there was whatsoever no content added apart from a rushed main story ending and some plot lines. No new scenes, nothing. Just endless side stories left unfinished and possible scenes left uncreated.
There was so much potential but sadly they threw all of it away. I liked the game for what it was but now it's just another 2024 version of blue balling.
    Very sad.

The core game is decent to good. The game is one of the best looking 2D porn games of all time. Incredible artstyle and direction, decent world building and hot/unique character design. The card battle system is barebones but functional. The writing is a bit too verbose, but good, fleshing out the side characters and their personality. The sex animations are eh with the Live2D ones being good. Just wish that there's sounds and voice acting on sex scenes.

BUT, MY FUCKING GOD! IT'S FUCKING 3 YEARS AND WE STILL GET 30+ QUESTS & 20+ SEX SCENES?! THERE'S SO LITTLE CONTENT FOR A GAME IN DEVELOPMENT FOR 3 YEARS!

THE MAIN MISSING SISTER STORYLINE IS STILL STUCK ON THE ARACHNE QUEST?! WTF ARE THESE DEVS DOING IN THESE PAST 3 FUCKING YEARS?!

THEY STILL HAVEN'T FUCKING SETTLED ON THE CARD GAMEPLAY, MAKING REVISIONS AND CHANGES AT A SNAIL PACE! LIKE WHY?!

THE GAME AT ITS CURRENT STATE IS A WASTED POTENTIAL!

A great game crippled by the designers' blatant disregard for their players.

Most recently played the 0.46 version, which (again) required starting over as saves are incompatible. That was buggy, so checked and there was a bugfix 0.47 version...that was not compatible with saves from 0.46. They broke compatibility with a 0.01+ bugfix version.

That level of disregard on a game almost four years old is breathtaking. Instead of doing what conscientious game designers do and adding code to update saves, they simply lock out old saves. Bugs, on the other hand, throw exceptions and have an attractive screen telling players how to report them. It's telling that they prioritize tools to make up for their own lack of playtesting while not making tools to recover and update old saves.

The New Game + mechanism exists primarily to shift the burden of maintaining continuity to the player by making them memorize all of the quests they've done and skipping ahead. It's insulting and unhelpful because they've also added new content to older quests, so skipping actually misses some good story elements. Also, you can't load the old saves to see what you've done.

Apart from that, the game is polished and attractive.

Wait until it's finished to play. By 'finished,' I mean after the completed tag is on it, and the inevitable bug fixes are made, and people say they've completed the latest version without skips or other steps. Otherwise you will end up replaying it from the start again and again. Or getting disgusted, removing the saves (and shadow saves from the Roaming directory on Windows) and deleting the game.

    Such an avoidable disappointment.

I absolutely love the game's characters, and the art style is just fantastic! I'm really excited to see what the game has in store for us next. Plus, the gameplay itself is so immersive and enjoyable. I'm having a blast playing it!

This is a pretty great game. But it's 2-3 stars at best UNTIL its finished. Saves break on update and this is a game with a quest/progression system - where you have to do them all over again. There is a system that allows you to start FROM certain quests, but it's not like you'll remember exactly what you did months ago to know where to go from, so you'll more than likely either miss quests or have to redo certain progressions because of the system, which is very unfun.

Will happily change review to 5 stars once its finished.

Felt compelled to write a review as I enjoyed the game so much. It’s not particularly filled with sexual content but I was kept playing by the beautiful character illustrations and clear task list. No need for a walkthrough, it’s all in game really.
Also the combat mechanic is well implemented. That was a surprise and another reason why I kept playing.

The visuals of the game are quite beautiful, I played it as soon as I saw it. The combat mechanism is also not bad, but it is very annoying to start the game from the beginning as the game's save system doesn't work in every update. Also the game is kinda grindy.

A truly great game with one fatal flaw, its coding.

The storyline is interesting, the characters are varied, the art style is original...
Overall good points on all aspects !

The gameplay, while a little grindy, is simplistic and intuitive. One of the few games that can justify a sandbox setting in my humble opinion.

The reason I rate it a 4 and not a 5 out 5 is because of the flaw I mentionned earlier.
It would be fine over the developpment of such a game to expect the message "old saves will not work" once or twice.
Problem is, this game is concerned by such an occurrence at almost EVERY. SINGLE. UPDATE.
This means that you're faced with the choice of either restarting from scratch (for each update) or using the new game+ feature which is not equal to having your own save with your own playthrough at all.

I personally choose the third option : drop it until either this particular issue is fixed or until the game is completed.
Truly too bad because it IS a good game but one that is chained by this very annoying default.

Though with all that being said, I still recommend it for newcomers that wonder if they should try it ! :)

    [0.38 Review]

Worth it to play. Some of the best art on the site.

Developers still have yet to address the fundamental game design flaws. Gameplay often does not feel rewarding for as much as you can do.

This is due to how much story is in the game which is a plus but it's a huge distraction and the game isn't the most intuitive still but that has gotten better. This update.

    TLDR:

    Pros:
    - Great art
    - Great animations
    - Great character designs
    - Combat System Bugs Fixed/More Fluid
    - Minigames in RenPy are impressive. A bit lacking but still impressive

    Cons:
    - This game should be in Unity. The use of RenPy feels like it's derailing the game's development schedule and its future goals.
    - Incompatible saves. While cheats and gallery unlock are there, it's still irritable previous versions are incompatible. This is a design flaw that should be addressed and the answer is simple on the technical-level so the problem lies in the developers not accounting for this issue when initially developing the game. [I even built a small Unity VN library to test this out in the past week. Only feature I don't have is rollback]
    - Too much story drop still. Story should be added with progressive scenes with characters. For example, rather than drop so much Nun lore from the witch, have the lore be dropped via talks with the blonde nun after every dream with a progressive scene of kissing -> tongue kissing -> fondling, etc. Now abstract this concept of slowly rewarding players to other parts of the game so it doesn't feel like huge lore dumps and the player is always getting something from their activities.
    - Animations to CG art consistency is a bit wonky at times, especially with blonde nun.
