In short - if you like the DiD theme, especially with a focus on struggling with and escaping from bondage, as well as some foot/sock fetish stuff, you may find this game good enough to whet your appetite. Unfortunately, though, you may be left unsatisfied - the game doesn't have very many scenes and few of those scenes go as far as I'd like.
In long - I want to like this game so much more than I actually do. Luckily I still like it quite a bit, but I am struggling to score it a bit more objectively than my disappointment will allow.
The game hits damn near as many of my favourite fetishes as I can think of. Female MC. Bondage. Dominant other female. Rape. Slavery. The Damsel-in-Distress theme. Actual puzzles. All the fun shit that I don't get enough of.
Art-wise, it's probably not for everyone, but I personally like it. I like the painted style, and find the roughness of it adds to the grimy horror aspect of the game. It's honestly not the hottest I've seen, but fits the theme well.
The game has music but unfortunately no audio controls, and I personally find the audio balance a bit too skewed towards the music. That said, the music itself is not bad. Reminds me of Streets of Rage's music on the Mega Drive, which isn't a bad thing to be reminded of, although this game has a far different energy.
Mechanically, the game is... okay. Some of the puzzles are interesting. None overly hard with a bit of lateral thinking, but there was one which I had to refer to the walkthrough for because it involved notation I didn't know. It takes the RPGM engine and gives it a slightly different look, which I'm always a big fan of. However, it can be a bit clunky with regards to activating objects because of this - things don't always line up properly or become interactable if coming at them from the wrong angle, for example. There's also some occasional invisible walls, which seem to be bugs. No fights.
Story is probably where the game suffers most, in large part due to it's length. I actually quite like the characters and how the story's portrayed, but it's just nowhere near long or in-depth enough. Konoka is kinda scary and goofy, and hard to read, but the story with them doesn't really go far. Inami is believably defiant and reluctant about the whole thing, but comes off a bit muddled towards the end. There's also some text errors which could come off as speech affectations, but it's not entirely clear if that's the case or not.
Unfortunately, the game being short on story goes in hand with it being light on erotic content. There's 4-5ish endings and a few non-game-ending "scenes", but that's about it. On top of that, I feel like most scenes aren't quite fleshed out enough. They always seemed to leave me wanting more, which is alright during the usual struggling scenes, but buildup without a solid climax ain't my thing, in more ways than one. The actual writing and descriptions themselves aren't bad, though, just too short. The writer does seem to actually understand these kinks, rather than use them as set-dressing for a more vanilla story.
I do note that I don't remember encountering one of the screenshot scenes, so I'm not sure if I missed anything or just forgot, but a brief look at a walkthrough again didn't seem to indicate anything missing, so I'm not sure if that's a version mismatch or what.
Overall, short but alright. I hope this isn't the last attempt at a game for the dev, and we do need a lot more of this sort of game... but if this is a one-man job, I hope they can get a few more people on the next game who are a bit stronger on the design and writing side.
